Hotel Alka Palace

I had a terrible experience at Hotel Alka Palace in Durg. We booked the hotel in February after my father's demise, as we didn't have enough space at home for our guests. We booked three rooms for three days. Initially, we tried to book the rooms offline, but the hotel staff refused, so we booked them online. However, for one room, we booked it for two days, and the hotel staff created issues, closing online portals to force us to book offline. The staff's behavior was extremely rude. We pointed out that the bed sheets were dirty and had cigarette burns, but the staff member said it wasn't his job to change them, that it was housekeeping's responsibility. The front office staff, two girls, were also very rude. We asked to speak to their senior, but they didn't bother to arrange a meeting. Before booking, we were shown clean and nice rooms, but when we checked in, we were given dirty and substandard rooms. The rooms had cockroaches, the bathroom floor was flooded with water, and there was a strange smell. Despite our complaints, the hotel staff didn't change our room. They claimed that there were no rooms available on the first floor, but gave us a room on the second floor instead. Our elderly guests faced a lot of difficulties due to the lack of a lift and the hotel's poor design. The staff's behavior was unprofessional, and they lacked basic hospitality skills. I wouldn't even give this hotel a zero-star rating. Our experience was the worst, and we faced a lot of problems due to the hotel's poor behavior."

Pathetic Hotel, even worse service. Strictly not recommended if you're looking to stay here. Dirty and unhygienic rooms.

This is good and average hotel for stay. I have book number of times on this hotel and gotten cleaned room.

TV was not working, fixed after some time. Pillow covers were dirty. No towel in the room. However service was good. Decent hotel to stay.

My experience was very bad, I did not even get a bottle of water and the rate of the room was 2000 rupees. We don't get anything in the name of complimentary and you have to call four times even for the towel. I had to call 4 times to turn on the TV, overall it was useless.

Great hotel at budget near durg railway station at walking distance of 5 minutes only. Pros: 1. Clean rooms 2. Clean washroom with geyser 3. Dressing mirror with excellent lighting 4. Study table with seperate lights Cons: 1. Two seperate mattress joined in bed so it was bit uncomfortable. 2. No restaurant Overall it was good. There is KFC just below the hotel which was good. You can plan your stay here.

I don't want to give it even a single star because the service was very bad or the way of talking of manager was also verg bad and the price was also very high I mean if you are more than 2 people and older than 10 years then extra price will be charged. Is this hotel for Only 2 people and children for 10 years.
