Maya Hotel

Stayed at their Super Deluxe Room. The property is nice and located at the heart of Chandigarh. The property has nice ambience but needs some renovation on switches and lights control hub. Good thing Mini bar was stocked and has some snack options as well. Amenity kit was available on request. Overall decent stay but it lacks to some competitive offerings in tricity. Food used to be their main highlight but this time it was all bland don't know why. Location: 9/10 Staff: 7/10 Food: 6/10 Value for money: 7/10 Recommended if you've got a nice deal.

I stayed at Maya Hotel for a business trip and had a good experience. The staff were amazing--so welcoming and warm. The food was good, and the location is convenient. However, the bed linens could use an upgrade, as they seemed a bit worn. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would recommend it!

Crappy service!!!! We had a planned dinner for 15-20 guests on 14 April night. The hotel had assigned 1 waiter to us. He was mannerless and abusive. Speaking in loud tone and very very very slow service. He was himself old and not fit for being a waiter. Did not even carry a note pad to write the order. The food was served so late after placing order. When we told this to the waiter he said it takes time to cook food. Meanwhile there was a event in the banquet downstairs where service was being provided non stop. Not sure what special food they were preparing for us. Also the food quality was questionable. The gravy for paneer and Chicken was the same. Saltless food. Horrible condition of washrooms. The public washroom in sulabh are cleaner. Horrible experience!! It was a dream to get good service. Maya name suits you. Won't recommend to anyone in future. Refund the money!!

Been staying at this property from last 8 years but this time the stay was horrible. I feel the property is well past its lifespan and needs urgent renovation. Stayed at room 111. Many issues observed. Here it goes|Main door lock didn't work despite many attempts with card key. Finally staff used master key to open after repeated attempts. |Once door is locked from inside it still moves. Very disturbing at night. Sounds as if someone is trying to open it. |Phone now working. Reported at check in. Replacement phone brought but even that didn't work. Finally I was left with broken phone. |Refrigerator didn't work. Chocolates inside found melted. May be no one checks also. |AC runs at a preset temperature no matter what u try to do with the remote. | During check out I asked for complaint or feedback registered it was found absent. Instead I was handed over a feedback card which I didn't fill bcoz I wasn't sure if it would reach the concerned person. ||One good point about this visit was that their breakfast has improved a lot in taste. I really enjoyed it in the morning. |For rest of the points I think team should really reconsider their amenities and infrastructure. |Hospitality was amazing as usual. Staff is very efficient in services but even they are struggling with lack of proper backup to address customer grievances regarding room amenities.

This is a very good place to stay. The staff is really very nice. No food is allowed from outside. And what is served inside is very costly but good to eat. I am sharing the pic of the menu which will help you a lot.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms are elegant and staffs are very courteous and cooperative. The place is managed extremely well by Mr Kalra. We enjoyed our daily buffet breakfast at the restaurant, and room service was also available almost any time. We will definitely come back again and stay at Hotel Maya again. Well done team, keep up the great work!!

Good hotel... strongly recommend.

Good location right in middle of town. Have all required shops nearby . Front desk staff was helpful and checking and checkout was very fast. Room was very specious, neat and clean. Good in room essentials, mini bar, toiletries quality was very good. Bathroom was well designed, neat and clean. Bed and upholstery was very comfortable. Good lighting and ambiance was very good. Room service was good. Good choice of food, breakfast had good variety and quality was good. Restaurant ambiance was good and specious with ample seating arrangements. Ample parking but it's paid parking.
