Hotel Dove Chandigarh

Washroom was not clean up to mark, i could not change speed of fan because, speed switch was not working, i tried charging my phone, switch was damage already, i entered by 7pm there was sound coming from outside by 10pm. Service was ok. Food was little expensive, but that doesn't matter I guess

It's a little far from the heart of the city and the entrance is situated in a narrow alley. However the staff are really helpful and the rooms are good for it's price. Toilets are clean and the bed is comfortable. Our room did not have a window so it's not suitable for people who need open air.

I don't even know what to say about this place. I ended up there because a guy in the Chandigarh airport said it was a good area and it was one of the few hotels that would allow foreigners. My Uber found the place no problem but I was kind of confused since the streets were very residential looking. This hotel is just right on a busy residential/small business street. The rooms (at least on the main floor) seem like they are converted offices since they all face into the lobby with floor to ceiling windows. It's a weird effect, but kind of cool.||||When I was being shown the room, as we approached the bathroom door, I heard a small metallic clink. We opened the door and looked around and the drain cover was up and not covering the drain. I nudged it back into place and didn't think much of it until I came back to the room later and it was off again. Pretty sure something was coming up out of it so I covered it with the bucket and moved on.||||The staff was super helpful in directing me to a local mall where I could get a wedding outfit and the next day in printing out a bus ticket for me when the carrier wouldn't take electronic tickets. Breakfast was decent (aloo paratha and curd).||||Street outside the hotel was busy and kind of fun to walk up and down. Medical shop right across from the hotel if you need it.||||If you need a place to sleep for a night or two and aren't expecting luxuries, go for it. Do not expect anything other than that or you will be disappointed.||||I had a great stay and thanks to the front desk guys for being helpful and friendly.

The rooms are really good for the prices they charged. The ground floor and 1st floor rooms were very cool even without air-conditioning. The top floor rooms are kind of hot. The hotel staff were very nice and cooperative but are really amateurs in hotel management. I found the hotel to be a bit understaffed. The room service was good. The food was good but costly when compared to the room rents. The biggest con was the location of the hotel. It is located in a remote area with no other good places nearby. The location is very poor. The staff even though very helpful, don't know how to run a hotel properly. If you are looking for some budget accommodation and really don't care about the location, I would say go for it.

Decent budget hotel. All basic services and amenities are covered and quite good. Staff is also quite good and food is alright. Don't expect too much from a 2* hotel and you are fine. Location is bit on outskirts of main Chandigarh city and is in a back lane so travelling is a small inconvenience.

Very sad approach Road. How can a do one even open an hotel there. It's one of the worst locations I have been to The rooms are fairly ok ok types. Not really sure how did the likes of GOIBIBO & OYO even listed this hotel. This is the lowest end of the hotels you can go to. It's like a group going for Yatra staying in a hotel in remote area. The surrounding don't even have road. The access road can have just one car going inside. With people sitting on road on their chairs See the photos I have taken at the location. It's really really sad is what I can say. Would not recommend this hotel at all. Give this a SKIP

This hotel is located in very inside in the colony. We found it in 15 minutes of walking. Because as first we saw a banner of that hotel, we went there and found that it is the backside of the hotel. And we took another 10 minutes finding the front. Its backside is facing the highway. Overall the inside services were good but there is no WiFi.

Aside from being one of the noisiest and dirtiest hotels we've stayed in, this is one of the many Oyo hotels that is running the famous cancellation/markup scam, whereby on arrival you are told your reservation has been cancelled (without warning or notification) and that if you want a room you have to pay the 'walk in' price which is higher than the price you agreed on booking.com. As we arrived late at night we had little choice but to accept. We shouldn't have. |The walls are paper thin and you'll hear every cough/footstep/conversation from other rooms and outside. Those same walls are also covered in a myriad of disgusting 3D stains like the rest of the room (mould, food, snot, etc!). |There was also no hot water, no towels in the room, and in the morning we were woken up by a confused phone call from reception asking us what our room number was!?|Don't give this place your money, it's the pits!
