Ansari House

A beautiful place surrounded by a garden, children that bring so many smiles everyday and owners that make you feel at home. The food is organic and fresh, the rooms are beautiful and clean and spacious and it's just a ten minute walk into the center of Bodhgaya. Recommended!

We had a very very pleasant stay. It is the most welcoming accommodation we had in India. The kids are gorgeous and were so happy to meet us. Also the people that run the house are very welcoming and helpful all the times. The food is great as well and the price is unbeatable. It's nicely located outside of the hustle and bustle and since the village is very small, you can walk to the Center of Bodghaya.

I stayed in the dorm. Value for money. I paid less than EU3 per night for a room with en suite bathroom. The family that hosted us has 25 orphans in care who have animated my days here. They were very kind to us and attentive to our needs. The place is about a kilometer from the center, very quiet and out of the traffic of the city.I highly recommend.

There are little words to describe how lovely the stay at Ansari House was. The family is welcoming, and very generous. They received us at their home, with open hands and open hearts. We were invited to play with the children, and eat at the family table. It is important to note that this place is a home of many children, whose lives have been blessed with the helping hand of the amazing host, and wonderful human being Islam. An experience to remember.

We stayed here for 1 week and had a fantastic time. It's located a short walk from the centre of Bodhgaya - a walk made even shorter if one is happy to cross the very shallow river - it's nice to be out of the noise and chaos but not too feel too detached. Islam and his family are delightful - very accommodating and generous and always happy to help with anything. Would not hesitate to recommend coming to stay here xx

What a lovely family, with great care and love I was treated like a family member. You can enjoy a nice stay near the bodhi temple , have some organic food fresh from the farm and get a real authentic Indian experience. You can see the Bodhi temple from the terrace and especially in the evening it is so beautiful in its reddish colors. The money they make goes for the support of the poor people in the villages and their many children they have taken in, so coming to Bodhgaya to this place was the best decision for me. If you want that really authentic and lovely experience and also support the family , please consider coming here A Fitness Center is around the corner as well.

Islam the host has an absolute heart of gold and is an absolute gentleman! Him and his family provide amazing hospitality! The location is roughly a 10 mins scooter away from the main city but fear not as you can rent a scooter for a good price and will be blown away with the Indian countryside which the accommodation is located in!

Ansari House was an amazing place to stay. The hotel is amazing. It's in a remote village which is very nice and traditional, very close to Bodh Gaya. You can cycle there in 15 minutes. The owner and the family are very warm. They're very respectful, very kind, very helpful, very friendly, and they treated me as family and made me feel so comfortable. They're a really nice family and they'll make your stay very special. The rooms were clean, very big, with a nice view, and it was quiet and very comfortable. I had such a great time and I even stayed extra days because I was feeling like at home. Thank you so much for all your hospitality. It was great meeting you.
