Hotel Bodhi Retreat By Basotel

My stay was good for 3 nights. Stayed at ground floor at family room. Room is spacious, bathroom is good. There is water seepage in the bed side of wall. AC need cleanup and not working fully. Services are good. Food is OK. My wife got food poisoning and Jyoti from this hotel helped her with medicines. She is overall good in services.

I had a wonderful experience here at hotel bodhi in Rajgir. From the moment we arrived, the staff was exceptionally kind, curious, and attentive. Their warm hospitality and quick responsiveness, to all our requests truly made our stay comfortable and hassle free. Every need was met with a smile and the service throughout was consistent and thoughtful. I would highly recommend hotel bodhi to anyone visiting Rajgir for it's excellent service and welcoming atmosphere. The staff members Reyaz, Luci, Jyoti, Rosy, Nandkishor and Bunty were extremely helpful.

One must have his or her own mode of travel, otherwise it's only battery Operated rickshaws for you. Food isn't great. Staff is very polite. Receptionist Suman was very helpful. Extra stars for the staff.

It was overall nice experience with all staff (roast, Jyoti, chotu)and they are very helpful in this hotel my overall experience is good and the food are so delicious if u visit Rajgir do visit here .

The atmosphere of the terrace of the restaurant was elegant with exceptional service. The food was tempting and flavourful. The restaurant's inviting terrace surrounded by the mountains and lush greenery, is ideal for birthdays and anniversaries. There is also a lounge for kids to play and enjoy.

Experience is satisfactory. Only the room needs some fragrance as it smells a little bad and the bed is super soft & spunge which hampers your sleep also the need of mosquito liquid is essential. Staffs are very polite. Foods and their service is excellent. Location is your choice. Peaceful locality.

We had a nice stay in Hotel Bodhi retreat here in Rajgir. The hotel is neat and clean and rooms were good. Food in the adjoining restaurant is very good. Only issue is its little far from the city centre and room service like tv, was not functioning well. The hotel and restaurant staffs were very good and cooperative including the reception staff suman ma'am and others.

Review: Avoid Hotel Bodhi Retreat - Disappointing Stay My recent 3-night stay at Hotel Bodhi Retreat was a series of disappointments, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. First, the billing process was frustrating and inconsistent. When I asked the receptionist about my bill, she quoted 16,500, explaining that the rate was 2,750 per night per room (I had 2 rooms). I also asked if they accepted credit cards, and she confirmed with no mention of extra charges. Later, when I requested a printed bill, the manager suddenly quoted 20,500, claiming the rate was actually 3,000 per night per room and adding a 3% credit card surcharge. This kind of miscommunication is unacceptable and feels deceptive. Secondly, the staff at the restaurant was incredibly rude. The lady serving breakfast had such a bad attitude that it ruined the morning. No one wants to start their day being treated poorly by staff, and this set a terrible tone for the rest of the day. To make matters worse, the hotel's rooftop restaurant blasts loud party music every night. For guests trying to sleep, this was a nightmare. The noise made it almost impossible to get a good night's rest. On top of that, the food quality was disappointing. It lacked basic flavors - it felt like they forgot to add salt and spices. Definitely not worth the price. Between the misleading billing, rude staff, loud music, and bland food, this hotel was one of the worst experiences I've had. If you're looking for a peaceful and enjoyable stay, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.
