Hotel O Singh Palace

I had booked Singh Palace Residency, Purnia through Goibibo for myself and six other family members for our stay on 27th April 2025. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing and far below any acceptable standards of hospitality. Here's a summary of the issues we faced: No Response from Hotel Reception: On arriving in Purnia, I attempted to confirm the hotel's exact location by calling the reception number provided in the Goibibo confirmation PDF. I called twice, but no one answered either call, which made the initial arrival process very stressful. No Manager or Authority Present: On reaching the hotel, we were shocked to find no responsible authority present--not even a manager. When we inquired, the staff casually informed us that the manager was at his home and couldn't be contacted. Booking Not Recognized by Staff: Despite having a confirmed booking for 7 guests, the hotel staff seemed completely unaware of our reservation made through Goibibo. They questioned which platform we had used, which was both confusing and unprofessional. Unhygienic and Unprepared Rooms: The rooms we were shown were in an appalling condition-- Dusty floors, stained bedsheets, pillow covers, curtains, and even dirty cupboards. None of the rooms were clean despite showing us 7-8 different options. Some of the ACs were not working properly, and the remote controls were mismatched or missing altogether. One room had a Hitachi AC, but we were given a Voltas remote and told it would work universally--clearly untrue. AC Access Controlled by Staff: What's more shocking is that the ACs were controlled by the staff, who turned them off whenever they felt like, citing "power cuts" as an excuse. I even have video proof of the AC being turned off at midnight, which I'm willing to share if needed. Lack of Clean Blankets and Supplies: We were provided with insufficient blankets for 7 people. The ones we did receive were smelly and unhygienic, clearly not washed for a long time. Uncooperative and Disinterested Staff: From the start, the hotel staff showed a lack of concern, were non-cooperative, and acted like they had no accountability. Even after repeated requests and complaints, there was no action taken.

Cleanliness missing, found lot of cigretts remaining behind the bed, used cloths and dirty bed drawer.

Best hotel I've ever been to. All the rooms look exactly like as shown in images The receptionist is very kind and humble and speaks very politely and respectfully, I really love his behaviour Overall best value for money place.

The hotel sucks for the price rate and the service is so great. They don't even turn on the geyser during cold and the rooms are terribly messed up. Don't go through any online platforms as they ask for more money. Like I booked it from Oyo and the price was 588 but in the hotel they said we don't get a room until we pay 1000 for it. Also they don't have the 24 hours stay value. They want you to check out at 12pm or else they'll torture you by coming to your room and telling you to go out or pay for another night. Don't go through the pictures they're all downloaded from Google.

Worst staff behavior I have seen ever. Dirty bedsheet, blankets, even they are not willing to provide bathroom soap. Please carry your own if you do not have any other hotel to stay.

Yeah nice hotel to stay one night. Everything is good specially food and all. Nice Staffs they were very gentle .
