Chanakya Inn Patna

Surprisingly very nice hotel. I generally do not find good hotels in the viscinity of the railway station, but Chanakya inn was a pleasant surprise. Very clean rooms. Morning breakfast was amazing !! There is a dominos night below and the children loved it !!! Otherwise, the patna city is terrible.. Whole of Bihar has improved except for the capital city.

The location of the restaurant itself is in proximity to the railway station and the food was good.The staff also are well mannered and helpful

THE HOTEL DOESN'T GIVE GOOD VIBE, DOESN'T FEEL SAFE FOR FAMILY OR WOMEN. THE ROOM WAS SMALL SIZE. THE ROOMS WERE NOT CLEAN, THE LINEN WAS DIRTY AS WELL AS TORN AND NO CONTROL OVER TV (YOU CANT EVEN SWITCH IT OFF AND CAN'T CHANGE THE CHANNEL AS WELL). THE AC WAS NOT WORKING. THE BATHROOM WAS OK-OK SIZED BUT THE TOILET SEAT WAS BROKEN. THE STAFF BEHAVIOUR WAS NOT GOOD. FOOD WAS OK-OK. I booked online for the room with king sized bed for which I paid quit high, only to find out that they don't have any king sized bed in any available rooms. Only good thing, the hotel is located just outside the Patna junction, so reaching there is not an issue.

Decent hotel on a good budget. The main positive point is location. It is just opposite to the station platform 10. And you can check in anytime as reception is open. And I must say the food is very affordable and the taste is also very good. But they need to improve the cleanliness of bedsheets and sheets as I found them dirty. To sum up you can book this hotel for a comfortable economical stay. (please ignore personal stuff in bed)

The rooms were very dirty. The staff was very rude. The service was terrible. It was a safety issue, the wires of geyser was cut and exposed. The price is too much for such a room. No value for money.
