HOTEL J.K INTERNATIONAL

The rooms are well lit and ambiance wise superb. Location also good considering it is located at just a kilometer from the railway station. The staffs are helpful and courteous. We checked in early(u need to call before hand)and was provided tea at 6am. Quality of food from inhouse resturant is also good. The only let downs are geysers are not adequate for cold weather,it does warm up the water but not efficiently. The bathroom fittings and cleanliness is great but could have been a bigger considering how amicably the room is decorated. Will definitely be recommending others for any short stays here.

I stayed here for a night. Room was clean and fine. It's a average budget hotel so you can't expect much. Nothing was disappointing though. Point to be taken under consideration is that they don't have parking area, not even for Bike. I, got me meet the owner of the hotel, and as he learnt I am riding in all of NE India for almost a month he managed to get my bike parked in nearby Petrol Pump. So, overall a nice experience.

Situated just beside Police Bazar and Centre Point, this hotel at present, run by a Bengali owner. The rooms are compact,clean, well decoreted but very very small in size with equally small bed. No view from any of the room. The restaurant at the ground floor serves good food. Room service is average. We booked a double bed room @2300/- per night although we were 3 persons. Same quality of hotel with much cheper rate available in the same row.

I stayed at this hotel with my family. Rooms are good and clean. But cable tv connection is bad all over the hotel. Staffs are helpful. You can local ride with the help of staffs. Fooding is available with room service. Location of this hotel also good in shilong. Double bed rooms are quite small in my POV. But rooms are well decorated and maintained. Special not is no lift facility available in this hotel. Two hotels are situated in a single building and you can faced a confusion also about it..

The property is a ancillary of Hotel Simna International. Should prefer Simna if room is available there as the tariff is same for both. The entrance of Simna is more appealing. The hotel is nice as per expectations. The room service is sourced from Simna and is good. It's worth four stars. There is ample parking space behind this hotel. The staff is courteous and helpful as is expected from a good hotel.

We had a horrible experience at this hotel. The double room had a double bed, a small table, a wardrobe and a tv cabinet with TV but almost no space to walk. We had to go sidewise to slide through the space between bed and table for the washroom. There were insects in the room. Bed was stinky and the blanket was burnt at three places which looks to be cigarette marks. The tv plug was broken and we had to handle it carefully to avoid shocks. The toilet was stinky as well and to our surprise the exhaust fan was fitted in an opposite direction. So if you switch it on, air comes from outside to the toilet and eventually the toilet air escapes to the room. Horrible. Not recommended. Specially people with children should avoid. Can be used for one night rest.

I visited their restaurant with 2 friends. The sitting were not so comfortable, but everything else there, from lightings to ambiance to food to staff were great. Though the price is a little high compared to the other nearby restaurants, the food was tasty and nice.

We stayed in this budget hotel during our Shillong Trip on last Jun'13 which was pleasant. The Hotel staff were so helpful specially the owner Mr.Apu was so infromatic. The mail positive thing was the hotel is the main tourist center point of the city.
