Sakura House

LOVE THIS PLACE AND THE STAFF! Sakura House is Not a 5* hotel...but the treatment and care they offer certainly is! I visited 6 Other hotels Before Sakura house ...and All the Other hotels i visited looked clean online but in person... were DISGUSTINGLY DIRTY/DUSTY! Sakura staff and manager Kumar Ravi, provided a Very IMMACULATELY Clean room and checked on my health daily (as i had actually become ill from another nearby hotel). I appreciate their kindnesses. Sakura House is perfectly located: very short walking distance to Beautiful Japan, Bhutan temples and the Giant Buddha, 1 minute walk from main market, museum and restaurants. 5 minute walk from entrance to MahaBodhi temple and bus stand and situated very near the highway to get you to other points of interest: Barabar Caves, Airport, Dungeshwari cave, etc. Sakura House is also tucked behind other hotels and temples so my room stayed cool & Quiet. Do stay here...it's worth the visit. You will also be greeted by Pilu...a small friendly dog who loves everyone Thanks Again guys for helping me recover my health Brian USA

Excellent hotel at budget prices. The reception staff are cordial and friendly. Neat rooms, clean bathrooms. Wifi available.

i came to Bodhgaya to do a vipasana retreat in thai monastery next to Sakura. when i arrived i had a half day to spend, and Sakura staff was amazing, letting me use their storage and lobby. the accommodation after, was great. clean rooms, quiet, amazing staff.

Visiting this hotel for two days was such a wonderful time. It's close to sightseeing spots. You can go there by walk. Their breakfast is so delicious. All of Stuff are very kind.|Please stay when staying at Buddhagaya. I will totally recommend all people.

We stayed here for 3 nights and the guest house was quite peaceful. Location is fantastic and the owner's husband, Deepak ji is a very nice gentleman. They also have a small rooftop space from where you can see the Mahabodhi Temple. It was good value for money

Excellent value in good location. Room and attached bathroom are spotless clean. Plenty of hot water in the shower. The bathroom is large enough to keep access to basin and toilet dry when taking a shower. Rooftop terrace. No need for a restaurant at the hotel because plenty of food options right around the corner. The super friendly staff can arrange food if you want to eat in your room. Mahabodi Temple and giant Buddha in walking distance.

We booked our driver Vijay through Dipu owner of Sakura House. The car was very large, clean and had wonderful air conditioning. We drove Varanasi, Lumbini to Bodhgaya. Vijay was very knowledgeable, helped us with absolutely everything and we are so grateful to him for our wonderful experience. We stayed at Sakura house before and after our silent retreat. Location is fantastic. We were welcomed during holi and they took great care of us on their holiday. Rooms are clean and water hot and good pressure. Breakfast is on the rooftop. I would highly recommend Sakura house and especially their car service!

Hotel is near & Clean with Good staff and feels like home.Would recommend all my friends and family whenever they visit Bodhgaya..Excellent
