It is a convenient option for visitors, as it's within walking distance of the Mahabodhi Temple. While the rooms and facilities are simple, the location makes it a practical choice for pilgrims. It is not a big or luxury hotel, but good enough.

Good hotel in a good calm and quiet location. Very good rooms with good toilets and AC. Every room has its own electric kettle and the cups and the tea bags etc so you can make your own tea at any time. Restaurant is a good one and either Buffet or room service or you can request the staff to serve. The food served are either Indian or English style. Wide variety of choice. I liked the 4 nights which I stayed there. The hotel Manager is very helpful. If you wanted to go to the Temple it is just 5 minutes walk. If you wanted to hire an electric 3-wheeler it is in front of the hotel and cost you only Rs20.00. Just agree the price before you get in. If more than two people are sharing then each person has to pay only Rs10.00. When you return from the temple also you have to agree the same way. These three-wheel drivers are normally cunning and cheating to new tourists. Though, they know the hotels clearly, they overpass the destination and wonder around the area pretending not knowing the place to overcharge the fare.||I have seen the kitchen of the hotel and they seems to be clean and good.||We went there as a group and it was a good trip as the hotel facilities are good. You have Wi-Fi also there.

We were greeted and treated like family - even though it was our first stay. The staff could not have done more for us...they were kind, friendly, helpful and cheerful. The aim of the staff was simply to please, to make our stay enjoyable. They did this indeed!||The chef was so good at his craft and cooked our food just they way we asked - ranging from some very spicy dishes to less spicy and with a great variety. The waiters were lovely and when they had run out of sprite, they immediately got some more.||The housekeeping staff kept the rooms spotless and promptly provided items we asked for.||When we left, the staff gathered to say goodbye and asked us to return soon. We hope to be able to - they made our stay something special.||I would recommend this little hotel in Bodhgaya - a lotus blossom indeed!||I have stayed in other 3 star hotels in Bodhgaya - this one is by far the best - real value for money in the things that matter - service, food and cleanliness/comfort.

After reading some previous reviews I was a little concerned at what the hotel would be like. It's an older budget hotel (although there are some refurbished/new rooms) and we stayed in the older part of the hotel. We were treated exceptionally well - consulted about food preferences and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. As you can see from the picture the rooms in the older section of the hotel are basic - but one is paying basic prices! Comfortable and air conditioned with bath and shower and in easy walking distance of the Mathabodi and other temples this hotel is a little gem. Very highly recommended.

Stayed two nights as part of a Buddhist Pilgrimage Tour. Walking distance to Mahabodi Temple and several other temples..such as Sri Lankan, Japanese ,Thai etc..The staff were friendly and helpful. Good food even though it was mostly the same.. Clean and comfortable rooms.. We felt our tour company had chosen the best hotel to stay in Bodhgaya. We may stay here again in our next visit..

This hotel is not bad considering the business and dirtiness of the town. It is well located near the main temple.|It is however very austere. There are no pictures on the walls which themselves are badly painted and look very shabby. The plastic flimsy browny toilet seat in the bathroom is off putting added to the smell of naphthalene in the bathroom. The shower was okay with hot water. This hotel is very expensive for what you get but the restaurant seemed to be the best we could trust in Bodhgaya.

We stayed four nights at this hotel which obviously is part of the Lotus Nikko company which caters for groups of pilgrims. It has a number of advantages:||* It is in an excellent location reasonably close to the Stupa, but down a quiet lane with the Archaeological Museum on the corner, so it is very quiet, apart from call to prayer from the nearby mosque.||* Our room was minimalist, spacious and clean with a spacious convenient bathroom with a good hot shower.||* The service was cheerful and friendly and there was good security around the extensive garden setting.||||The food in the restaurant was good but it was the same uninspired, expensive menu that all the Lotus Nikko hotels share. Once when there were no other groups present we were served breakfast at the table and the food was very good. On the other days there were large groups and the breakfast buffet was a poor selection.||||The small annoyance was the toilet lid which through bad design would not stay up. The big annoyance was the bed. I was delighted when I found a foam mattress on the bed but it turned out to be the hardest foam that I have ever experienced. I have to say though that my friends did not appear to have the same problem so perhaps we were just unlucky to get the very, very dense foam.||||The hotel was expensive but then even some very basic hotels can be expensive in the pilgrim season and most especially when HH is teaching.

I stayed at this hotel on 26th dec14.||Check in was slow, harsh.||Rooms not good..||No intercom in rooms.||No way to communicate between rooms and reception.||Food is just ok.||The only intelligent staff at the hotel was Shravan..he was nicely responsive and do the needful.||Hotel like many other hotels around is walking distance from the temple.||Bodhgaya is in dire need of a well managed star property. Hoping it comes out soon.||||Our pick up from gaya airport was through Rajtoursand travels varanasi. I can definitely say that this travel agency's work is applaudable.||My special thanks to Mr Sachin who took great care in providing us the best cab and the driver.
