Housetale has been such a comfortable hostel stay! I visited the place for my first solo trip at Bodhgaya and it's been a budget friendly place! The host Armaan is accommodating and makes sure you have a great time! As a female on my first solo trip ever, I'm happy to have chosen this place as it's been safe and comfortable also, close to many monasteries and easy travel! I highly recommend visiting solo or with friends and even if you just stay at hostel you'll have a good time

I stayed here for 4 days and had a wonderful experience. The place is located in a quiet and peaceful area with a beautiful ambience and uplifting energy. The view from the terrace was absolutely breathtaking, especially during sunrise and sunset. Armaan, the host, truly makes this place feel like home. He is incredibly warm, helpful, and always available to assist with anything you need. His presence adds a personal and welcoming touch that makes you feel instantly connected. The private rooms are cozy, clean, and well-maintained. I felt so alive and cared for during my stay. I would definitely love to visit again and highly recommend this place to anyone traveling to Gaya. I guarantee you'll have a memorable and joyful experience. Cheers to happy memorable times!

I had a good stay at HouseTale. It's a peaceful and chill place with a nice garden, where I could practice yoga and have interesting conversations with other guests. The dormitory has comfortable beds with curtains for privacy and safety locks which I really appreciated. Arman, the owner is really friendly and helpful person who takes good care of his guests.

This is a home. I felt so welcomed and so comfortable the whole time. This is the perfect place to stay when visiting BodhGaya. It just outside the town so it's very peaceful and the rooftop has amazing views of the countryside with amazing sunrise and sunset. There is a beautiful garden and lots of paint and games to enjoy your time in a peaceful setting!! I 100% recommend!!

My stay there was truly delightful! The rooms were absolutely beautiful, decorated in an incredibly aesthetic way. The washrooms were spacious and spotless, adding to the comfort of the stay. The host managing the place was exceptionally kind and welcoming, making the experience even better. I'd highly recommend this place to others and would definitely stay here again if I revisit Bodh Gaya! Thank you for providing such excellent service!

This hostel is so cozy, well-decorated, and ran by the amazing Arman who makes sure everyone has what they need - be it food, blankets, a rickshaw, directions, or a friend! The name HouseTale/A Traveller's Home is quite fitting, as I really felt at home here enough to stay longer than intended and was tempted to stay forever! They also hold events like music nights and bonfires. I will definitely be coming back as they are continuously improving It's not just a hostel, it's a second home and a community. Would recommend for solo female travelers who value peace, serenity, and chill vibes like me

I had a wonderful experience at HouseTale. The owner & staff were very friendly & welcoming. The rooms & beds were clean. Food & drinks were good & everything was priced fair. Amazing hostel - it is very clean and absolutely love the vibe and the people here. Arman is really helpful and he cooks very well too :) This stay truly adds to my experience in Bodh Gaya. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a nice stay and socialize with like minded travelers!
