This is a very good budget hotel just a kilometer or so from the main attractions. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant had good food our first night, but didn't live up to those standards when we ate again. The rooms are clean with fresh linens and comfortable beds. However, our room did have a little problem with mosquitoes as the balcony overlooked a mini mound of garbage. That said, I would recommend this hotel and stay there again.

Good budget hotel offering decent service. The hotel is located in a relatively less crowded area. Parking space is available outside the hotel but there is no enclosed space for parking. Rooms are generally well maintained. The stated room rates on the card is much higher and rooms are available at discounts. Rooms can be booked through many online travel sites and apps. Room service, restaurant, hall etc are available though there is no gym or swimming pool.

The manager Khan is disrespectful and dishonest. Hot water was promised to be on in mornings and evenings. During my stay he turned off the hot water and lied about there being a problem with the heater. The hotel was almost empty and he only turned on hot water when tour groups arrived. Khan told me I had to heat water in a bucket if I wanted hot water! Khan also stole money from me on check out and lied about what the negotiated rate was. Do not stay at this hotel. It is very far from everything and you will not have a nice experience. They only want your money, have no hospitality and care nothing about the guest. In India "Guest is God". You will have nicer experiences in other guesthouses and hotels in Bodhgaya.

I visited the hotel with my family. After checking in, I found that my room was not very clean. I called the room service, and the staff came after 15 minutes. The room was cleaned then. About restaurant, the services were not well. The service was very slow. ||I ordered some cups of ice-cream. But the waiter delivered us the ordered menu very late. The taste of the ice-cream was worst. The hotel was not good for a pleasant stay.

The behaviour of all the staff were very friendly. The ambience inside the hotel was really calm n cool. I should say the position of the hotel is excellent. The food also was up to the mark. I would want to recommend the hotel those who want to visit the historical heritage of our country.

I stayed at Hotel RK Palace a second time during my trip to Bodh Gaya . At the price point I got this hotel ,it's a good deal . Breakfast is included. Rooms are big , spacious ,with a small balcony and good ambience. All major temples within walking distance

This hotel is the most filthy, depressing and disastrous place. There is no hot water at all in the hotel. We asked for hot water for the shower and were brought a bucket of hot water! They expect their guests to shower from a bucket!|The rooms are dark, dirty and depressing (although at least the sheets were clean). The walls have filth all over them. |When we walked into the dining room for breakfast the first thing we saw was a mouse running around. We refused to eat here. The kitchen seems to be outside in a dirty alleyway. We could see it when we looked down from our balcony. We could also see the staff washing themselves and their clothes here! |The hotel seems to be still under construction. There was building work going on in the lobby. There was constant hammering going on from 7am. The lift has a sign that says it doesn't work. |There was no wifi at all in the room. |Avoid this place at all costs! ||

Even considering Indian standards, this hotel is old, depressing and quite dirty. When we arrived, our bedrooms were not ready yet, so we took a seat on the sofa at the reception but, after a few minutes, the manager asked us to follow him upstairs. We tought our rooms were ready but he kept us waiting for a long time in a bedroom which was not ours. I don't know why we couldn't wait at the reception... After 10/15 minutes, sick of waiting, we went out saying them to take their time. At breakfast time, we saw a mouse on a table in the restaurant... Pretending to be posh, the hotel's name is R.K. Palace but the word "palace" sounds hilarious. I don't understand such a high score on Tripadvisor.
