Hotel Orchid Bodhgaya

The rooms are ordinary, not very good. No geyser. One room had an electric kettle but it was not working. One room fan was not working. My opinion - for one night or for a few hours this hotel can be useful but not for a few days. Food was good, but service was too slow. The location is good and can be found easily with gps.

It's is non veg hotel due to which I faced problem while my stay during Piripaksh shraddh . Maintenance is poor almost all rooms have problem. People shouldn't get confused with the name of online booking person.

To begin with; I am a budget traveler, a flash packer of sorts, and look for hotels in the $30 USD range. If I go over budget, no worries and if I find really cheap accommodations that suite me that's an added bonus.||||I'm currently on my second tour of India (February 2018 - March 2018). I find that all the hotels I have stayed at are pretty much the same. No matter what price I paid (500 - 2500 INR) at any given hotel, I found the cleanliness to be substandard, the rooms outdated and in need of serious remodeling and maintenance appears to be non existent. Typically the bedding, linen, pillows and towels are worn, stained and should be replaced. Hot water and water pressure can be an issue and I have at times skipped a shower. Amenities are totally lacking, mostly you get a roll of toilet paper and a bar of soap. Most budget hotels do not clean the rooms on a daily basis, seems to be upon request. Wi-Fi is hit or miss, some places it was quite good, others not so much. Never found much in the way of English language channels on the television so I did not watch it. A visit from a mosquito or two was a nightly occurrence at just about every hotel I stayed at.||India is noisy, and I found most hotels to be as well, from a combination of street sounds, staff and guests. In all honesty, none of the Indian hotels that I stayed at deserve more than three stars.||||Now to the review: ||This was one of the best hotels I have stayed at during my two trips to India. The room and bathroom were reasonably clean, the linen was in fairly good condition. The amenities included two bottles of water and some soap. The Wi-Fi worked very well.||Stayed here three nights and the staff actually cleaned the room once. ||||During the day there was a little bit of road noise but at night the hotel was very quite, possible because I was the only one staying there.||||I paid a rate of 1600 INR plus tax with Booking.com.||||Would stay here again for sure.

I had a very nice experience in this hotel. My room was very neat and clean and so was the washroom. Every time we wanted to go out, we would easily get transportation from here.We ordered food through room service once and it was fine. The service was quick though. The best part about this hotel was that the room tariffs were very reasonable.

One of the best and reasonable Hotel In Bodhgaya. Special thanks to the owner Parwez alam ji for taking extra care for all tourists. Food is delicious and also hotel in around 1 km from main temple. Thanks for the hospitality, will visit again for sure.

Its a small budgeted hotel giving you full worth of your money. The property is not very big and have limited no of rooms. But the rooms were nice not very big but good enough to have a comfortable stay, they were clean and simple . They also have garden restaurant which was the main USP, food was normal but the view was great.

Service over there is one of my personal favourite experience. Manager and other staffs are really helpful and kind. Food over there is just so amazing. Personally I would suggest to have "kadai panner" as your main course meal.
