Bodhgaya Seven Inn Hotel n Restaurant

All and all we were not impressed. A Fawlty Towers gone to seed, or perhaps to sleep in the off season. Positives: a good city view in our second room, and the room was a good size. Hallways and stairs were mopped every day. Staff was friendly. A nearby cafe frequented by visiting monks provided good meals at a moderate price. Negatives:Wifi did not work in our first assigned room/ floor, had to ask for toilet paper snd soap in both rooms, the sheets in first room had holes and were stained but we were then moved to another room/ floor for working wifi. Floor hadnt been cleaned in the second room and doubtful sheets had been changed. We also had no hot water the first day though manager assured us it would be fixed- it wasnt until next day when we complained again (complaining meant walking down to reception as the phones were not connected!) We requested the room be cleaned but it wasn't- the mgr forgetting we had asked ... This was the ongoing pattern. Oh- the hotel restaurant was not operating, but given the overall slapdash standard of almost everything else, this was probably just ss well!

Good place to stay with family. All staff members are very cooperative. Specially Pintu babu handle everything very nicely...

The personnel at the reception were super friendly and helpful which helped a lot as we arrived early in the morning. Without expectation we requested to get our room earlier than the 12pm check-in time and we got it by around 8:30am. It was the start of a pleasant stay. Convenient location to visit Mahabodhi temple. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was nice, cleanliness was excellent. At the end of our stay staff called a cab for us and helped us with our luggage. Staff are outstanding. Good Value for money. Will definitely stay again. One of the best hotels in Bodhgaya...just 5 minutes walking distance from Mahabodhi temple and 15 minutes driving distance from Gaya International Airport... luxurious bedrooms with all the facilities... Restaurant in it serves awesome food... facilities like picking and dropping by vehicle provided by hotel. Very caring and humble staffs make your stay a pleasant experience.

The place is close to Maha bhodi temple and it's convenient. You can get outside parking place too. It's surrounded by Thai and Burmese restaurants. Cleanliness around the hotel is horrible and there are a lot of mosquitoes. Most of the rooms have twin beds and hotel rooms are maintained horrible. Toilets go with 0 ratings. I suggest opting for other hotels.

Hotel Seven Inn may be a decent option relative to other options in Bodh Gaya. It's a bit hard to compare without experiencing other hotels. Importantly, the rooms are pretty clean with comfortable beds. There is hot water always and the general service of all the staff is very good. When one of us got sick the hotel even arranged for a doctor to come within 30 minutes. During our stay there were a few concerns others should consider when booking though:||||- A beautiful Vietnamese temple is next door and they begin to play their gongs around 4am which may wake you up every day. If you are a deep sleeper or if this is something you might even enjoy it wouldn't be an issue.||||- To enter and exit the hotel you have to walk through a very narrow 50 foot long small dirt pathway that leads between peoples corrugated metal & wooden homes. I felt a bit invasive and uncomfortable walking through an impoverished area into a hotel without any other route options. ||||||- The manager at Hotel Seven Inn gives off an impression of being very attentive and helpful to guests but it quickly became apparent that the intentions behind this service is to acquire more business. By the end of the trip we did not trust him and even found his demeanor to be almost abrasive. Upon check out he told us that his credit card machine was broken and that we needed to pay in cash. Only after telling him that we would be unable to pay then because we had no cash did the card machine magically begin to work. We asked if he could arrange a taxi to the airport and he told us that it would cost 1,200 rupees. A taxi to and from the airport should cost 700 max. As I told him, this was the first time in my month in India that someone had been dishonest about the cost of a service.

it was our first visit to bodhgaya & we just saw the hotel from the main road & entered into it. It is under construction but still the reception area, rooms, lobby areas were quite attractive.we got AC room in1500 per day after cutting it down from 3500 per day. The room was quite cozy with all the amenities. the fittings & fixtures used in the toilet & the room were quite expensive. the taste of the foods were really good.It was so located that we had easily roam around to the temples including the other temples within 5mins. The only things that it was lagging that it did not have parking space & proper entry from road. other wise this is great hotel.

warm stay here. stuff are very friendly. room is nice, bed is very comfortable, specially toilet. bath hot water is very hot, and 24 hours running. breakfast is very satisfactory, stuff can perfectly follow my requiements, even sometime I request for very early breakfast, surely very helpful.location is perfect, just 2 minutes walking, not too much noice, not too quiet, just perfect.they also offer launtry service.
