Marasa Sarovar Premiere, Bodhgaya

Amazing experience at this hotel! We received a warm welcome upon arrival and check-in was fast and efficient. The staff were outstanding - friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The buffet dinner arranged for our group of 41 people was excellent, with plenty of variety and everything tasting delicious. Breakfast was extensive, and the restaurant staff were incredibly kind and attentive. A special thank you to Sovan for arranging the cake especially for our group - much appreciated!

Once we entered the property the experience was totally different. Very neat and clean, well maintained property. Staff is well trained and courteous. Very good spread of breakfast, the food was quite good and up to the international standard. The locality was not good but over time this should get better. However once you enter the property the entire scenario changes with the fantastic landscaping, well kept lawns and pool. Parking space and car battery charging facilities are also available. Room was spacious and good. Room service was prompt. Enjoyed the short stay.

I recently stayed at Hotel Marasa Sarovar in Bodhgaya for a conference, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The property is quite spacious and well-maintained, featuring a pool, gym, banquet hall, reading room, park, and garden. The ambience is one of the standout aspects--calm, serene, and perfect for both work and relaxation. It is slightly outside the main city but its very close to the Mahabodhi temple (2-3km only). The staff were courteous and helpful throughout our stay, which made things smoother during the conference. The only slight letdown was the restaurant--Food was decent but not particularly delicious and memorable. Still, given the peaceful setting and range of facilities, Marasa Sarovar is a solid choice for events or a quiet getaway in Bodhgaya.

Such a treat to stay here at the end of my trip. The space is beautiful and the staff is exceptional. Sovan and Lakshmi in the dining room took extra good care of me. I felt so welcome. And the pool is beautiful! Will definitely stay here again if/when I come back!! Five stars!!!

In the middle of a village type of area stands this beautiful hotel with lots of facilities. We were very well received by the staff, check in went very smoothly and efficient. Sovan and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The staff even arranged a whole buffet dinner in just 2 hours for a group of 41 people. I would definitely recommend this place to relax.

Dear Marasa Sarovar Team, The staff at the hotel is extremely cordial, from the managers and reception team to the Varada receptionist and the entire team. The chef Surjit is excellent, and special thanks to Mr. Sunil Sharma Restaurant Manager and Ms.Laxmi for being such wonderful hosts and ensuring a delightful experience. The property itself is beautiful, and the food is exceptional. The only area for improvement would be the hotel's entry, which could have been better. Overall, a great experience!

This hotel is listed as 5star and has potential to be one but currently it has few issues that need to resolve before they can call them a 5 star hotel. First the pros. 1. Good size rooms 2. Pool, restaurant manager Sunil and SPA are really nice 3. Receptions and welcome was good. Cons for the hotel are 1. Service is really slow-we order a cup of tea in the restaurant and it took them 45 min to bring that out. Food service is slow too. 2. Housekeeping has no experience after making the room they don't put the towels back and you need to call for it. 3. Location there is nothing to do outside the hotel and there are lots of mosquitoes. 4. Power outages there is continuous electricity issues. If they can improve these issues then hotel would be a good place to stay.
