Hotel Namgay

A park along with a temple in front of the hotel added privilege to it. The room has wooden floor which keeps the floor warm in such cold weather. And the food was way too much tasty. But the blanket kinda' smelled which was pretty annoying. Other than that, very good and convenient hotel to stay in.

It is very nice and beautiful hotel. A little far away from clock tower. A little bit away from main market. But food is tasty & very hygiene. Rooms r really big with room heater. 24 hr. Hot water. Very clean toilets. Front line reception & employees r very friendly & well behaved.

A nice place to stay. Cozy with proper food service. The hotel is neat and clean with basic necessitates are there. Price is reasonable. Recommended.

Good Room, hot water in tap, with bath tub, 2 beds and with Pvt fridge/bar which has cold drinks, juice, beer and wine. Ema datshi- Bhutanese food I tasted was also good. Note: charges applicable for the drinks in the fridge, although it's reasonable. Overall experience is all good..

If you are looking for an authentic Indian Food on Bhutan this place rocks (Though this place is right at the entrance of Bhutan). Stayed one night over there, rooms were not big but enough for 2 ppl. Pretty close to market and India-Bhutan entry gate. Das(Our host) was the most genuine person one could ever ask for.

Terrible experience. Someone else was sleeping in our room when we got back in the night. I've never stayed at a place where the the staff is so rude, blatantly lying on your face and providing no help whatsoever. This must be one messed up place. First the room service guy says no we can't have another blanket, then get it an hour later. Comes in without knocking. Says drinking water isn't available when we come back after dinner. Vehemently denies taking our room keys saying we never left it at the front desk. Then we find out another man is sleeping in our suite room with our luggage still inside. It was already past 10 that night, so we checked out first thing in the morning.

It is a value for money hotel in Phuntsholling. Their Indian food is excellent. They do not provide any specific parking space. Though Bhutan is almost a theft free country.
