Shantibari Eco Resort

People who love to stay quiet in nature,this resort is perfect for them. The resort staff are friendly and the location is really peaceful, you will find the Pineapple garden at the hill backside of the resort and a pond at the front. There are 22 rooms available for the guests. Room decorations need to be improved and service needs to be increased.

We have spent just one in night in this Eco friendly Resort. Rooms are pretty basic but they are very well integrated in the background, a wonderful one. We have enjoyed the dinner and the breakfast, even the room despite of some insects (some spider) but you are deep in the nature so you can expect it; they only have to work a bit more on the bathroom cos it was not in decent conditions, above all if you travel with kids as we are doing. Dont take this as an offence but as a reason to improve a nice place. Suggested but improve the bathroom.

The location of the resort is wonderful for nature lovers and for people who want to spend a relaxing time away from city pollution. The walk from the road to the resort can be scary at night but is safe due to lights shining up the pathway. The room I stayed in was the wooden cottage - 1, from which you had a joint balcony with the second cottage. The bed was super uncomfortable and annoying for people who move a lot while asleep. The rooms leak audio from inside, so there's a slight invasion of privacy which is to be kept in mind while talking. The food served as dinner was delicious, and would recommend getting it. There is a constant supply of water in the washroom, and they provide basic things such as tissues, toilet tissues, soap and others. They also give you mosquito repellent coils, but I would recommend carrying a repellent spray while traveling. I would recommend visiting if you have the love for open resorts and want to spend a quality time

I was interested in booking a stay at Shati Bari Eco Resort, so I reached out using the contact number listed on their official Facebook page. The number I messaged replied by sending me another contact, so I repeated my query there. I was only asked to provide a date for booking but no details were given about pricing or availability, even after I asked. I tried calling them next day to get some clarity. My call wasn't answered, but I received a message about 15 minutes later saying they'd check and let me know. I even called the number given in their website and no one answered the call. That was the last I heard from them. Despite following up, I never got any information. The lack of communication and basic customer service was disappointing. I was genuinely excited to visit, but this experience has made me reconsider.

I had the pleasure of visiting Shanti Bari on 6th December 2024. This resort is a haven for nature lovers seeking a tranquil escape. The focus here is on preserving the natural environment, with minimal artificial interference, making it ideal for those who want to be close to raw, unspoiled nature. The atmosphere is serene, with no noise pollution, and the hospitality of the staff and owners is commendable. Their friendliness and warm demeanor truly enhance the experience. Additionally, the food served at the resort was delightful, showcasing authentic flavors. It's worth noting that they provide basic amenities like toothbrushes and toothpaste, although guests should carry their own towels for convenience. Areas for Improvement While the resort excels in its natural charm, a few areas could benefit from improvement: 1. Room Fixtures: Some upgrades to the room fixtures would enhance comfort without compromising the eco-friendly vibe. 2. Staffing: Increasing the number of staff could help during peak times, ensuring smoother service and better attention to guests' needs. 3. Entrance: The entrance to the resort can be paved so that it is easier for guest to reach to the reception during monsoom season. Unexpected Bonus Surprisingly during we din not encounter any mosquitoes. In summary, Shanti Bari is perfect for those who value nature over luxury. It offers a peaceful retreat, warm hospitality, and great food, making it a must-visit for eco-travel enthusiasts.

It was a pure wilder experience there. You don't get to be someplace like this very commonly, so you must enjoy your stay there. Rooms were so basic, yet no complains. Foods they serve are very delicious indeed. Definitely going there again
