A week in Paradise In Kalapa Retreat and Spa We had the most enjoyable week in a most comfortable room. Every morning we would wake to the sound of the waves and enjoy a walk on a secluded clean beach. Breakfast menu on par with any good restaurant/ hotel All meals were very enjoyable and a great choice of both Indonesian and western cuisine. The staff are always kind and welcoming attentive to all our needs. Pools are amazing always clean and cool. Our trip to Kelapa Retreat was very enjoyable we were looked after so well. In an air conditioned van with water and crisps for our journey of 3 hours ( approximately) The Trip went so fast as we were enjoying the sights of Bali. Rice paddies, furniture makers, pottery makers, let alone the family's on their bikes. On arrival we were greeted by the most friendly staff again, shown the facilities and our room ( which is better then the photos ) We enjoyed daily massages, again friendly and very professional staff. There is a variety of treatments available. And there is daily events available for us to enjoy . We can highly recommend Kelapa Resort and Spa for a totally relaxing atmosphere and where you really feel like you're in paradise We cannot wait to return! Lauren Australia

WE LOVE KELAPA! We love that it is far away from the big tourist places, we love the peaceful, quite and traditional atmosphere here and we especially love the ever smiling staff, that makes everything possible! The hotel tries to be as environmentally friendly and sustainable as possible and they support the local community. The food from breakfast to dinner is exceptional! Yummy, so nicely presented and healthy. They even started to plant their own fruits and veggies in a garden next to the resort which they use in their kitchen. We came here for the second time. This time as a family and our girls also loved it here so much, that we even stayed longer than initially planned. Now they also offer daily free activities, like cooking classes, walks into the village, ... If you want to enjoy nature in a luxurious and relaxing resort, that's the place for you to go! Oh, have I mentioned that never ending beach? This is a magical place and we're already looking forward to coming back. We already highly recommended it to family and friends.

Kelapa Retreat is a beautiful, idyllic, and quiet place to stay. The hotel is set on a private beach, with the rooms, pool, restaurant, and spa overlooking the ocean. The staff are amazing - very attentive and welcoming, always checking in to see whether there's anything else that can make the stay more comfortable. There are also lots of free or paid activities on offer. We did a free cooking class with the chef, which involved learning about Balinese cooking and spices, making satay lilit, and then visiting the hotel garden. We were even given a tree to plant in our name! The food at the hotel is delicious which meant we ate every meal here over our stay (there are plenty of options to choose from). There is also a spa on site with plenty of beauty and massage options. The one thing to be aware of when coming to Kalapa is that it's a 2-3 hour drive from the airport. It's not in the thick of things, but the trip is worth it for the quiet location. It feels remote which is one of the benefits of coming here if you want to relax. You get the beach all to yourself. Overall I can't recommend Kalapa enough and we will definitely be back!

Fantastic hotel and location. On the beach. Trips organised if you wish to go off and do other things. This is organised by the hotel and not really expensive. The food is amazing. The staff so helpful and welcoming.... Nothing but amazing! Our honeymoon stay in Kelapa was magical - everything is well maintained, the Pool and Beach are really beautiful, the service is perfect and most importantly the food (and coffee) were absolutely fantastic! We loved to do the Cooking class with Chef Huda because we really got to witness why the food in Tides restaurant is this delicious and healthy at the same time! I cannot recommend this Hotel enough for some quiet downtime and a luxury experience!

This was our fourth stop on our honeymoon and we can not recommend Kelapa Retreat enough! We stayed here for 3 nights and wish we stayed longer! From the beautiful surroundings, right on the beach, amazing food, atmosphere, staff and the garden pool villas are amazing! It was literally like a little house, it was beautiful! There are daily activities which we loved doing! The cooking class and the how to make a traditional Balinese offering class was great. The spa provided us with a relaxing couples massage and after our stay we truly did not want to leave! Thank you so much for making our honeymoon so special!

The restaurant staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely heartfelt in everything they did. Every request was taken care of immediately, always with a smile.
