The Sebali Resort

We recently spent a few nights at this resort and had an incredible experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible nothing was too much trouble. One of the highlights was the cooking class with the chef. He took us to the local markets, explained the different ingredients, and then guided us through preparing some delicious Indonesian dishes back at the resort. He was not only knowledgeable but also really engaging and made the experience so enjoyable. We also joined the local walk, led by a guide who brought us to his village and even welcomed us into his home it was a truly unique and memorable experience. The resort offers a complimentary shuttle service into Ubud centre, which was a fantastic added bonus. We treated ourselves to some spa treatments during our stay, and I have to say the massages were hands down the best we've ever had. Huge thanks to the two ladies who looked after us. Lastly, a special shoutout to the team who helped carry our luggage up and down the many stairs from reception it was no small task, and we really appreciated it. We'd highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and immersive stay in Ubud.

My husband and I had the most amazing 3 night stay at The Sebali Resort in April 2025. I We stayed in the jungle view private pool room & it was just beautiful. The room was traditional with a modern luxurious bathroom, they were very clean & had everything we needed. The complimentary breakfast & afternoon tea was fantastic. We enjoyed eating dinner at the restaurant also, we really loved all the food we had. The other facilities on site such as the complimentary shuttle into Ubud centre, the spa & heated jacuzzi were so nice & we used them frequently. The staff & service was impeccable, everyone was so kind, friendly & helpful. They have a WhatsApp where you can message 24/7 to request something or ask a question. We had a perfect stay at The Sebali Resort

I am so grateful for staying at The Sebali Resort Ubud. Grateful that I met the kindest and most caring staff, best service and hospitality that I felt I am home. The safety and the cleanliness are superb. I can't but mention the yummy food at the Sebali resort restaurant. The serenity that forces meditation. My room was on the waterfall side and that was like a dream. The waterfall view and the sound of the water day and night were my favourite. Also the tour trips that been organised by the resort was a great adventure. I spent 6 days at the Sebali resort and truly enjoyed my stay. I wished I could extended my visit, as the experience was truly unforgettable. The Sebali and Ubud will be my lifetime experience. Thank you so much! I miss you already

Amazing experience! The hotel is very beautiful, staff is extremely friendly! communication was very easy, through whatsapp we could book everything we wanted. We had a very cozy dinner with the acoustic musician. The best experience was in yoga class with the instructor Putu. Totally recommend!

I was pleasantly surprised by Sebali Resort . We stayed here 3 nights on our recent holiday to Bali. The location is about 20 mins out of Ubud but if you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud this is perfect for that. Staff were amazing and we throughly enjoyed all their breakfast options. |We booked a river view room with a pool and there were a few stairs to navigate to get to our room but it was worth it for the view. Would definitely look to go back.

An amazing experience at The Sebali for our honeymoon. You will not find kinder staff at any other hotel they truly go out of their way to help you every day. ||The food at Air Bar was incredible and the activities such as Yoga and walks were great.||Breakfast was incredibly generous in portions and choice and dinner was always top notch. ||Thank you to the Sebali staff for a wonderful experience

Great team! Excellent service staff. However, the pictures on Booking.com or on any platform are borderline fraudulent. The hotel is in a miserable condition. The rooms are okay, but everything else around them is falling apart. No investments are being made here anymore. For over 100 dollars per night--which is a fortune in Bali--it's absolutely unacceptable. On top of that, there's the location. It is extremely humid, and in the low-lying area, there's no breeze at all. This also contributes to everything deteriorating even faster. Many good reviews from local guides? Looks suspicious. Never again.

This place is amazing and looks exactly like the pictures! The grounds were beautiful and the spa was even better. The location is not far from Central Ubud so it's a great place to stay and not be in the middle of all of the action and noise of the city. The service at the restaurant on site was great, but I will give the food a 8/10 but it was nice to have a complementary breakfast every day. This is a great stay for the price, especially with all the added amenities and perks that you receive as a guest so I would highly recommend.
