I stayed in one of the tents and it was a wonderful experience. I enjoyed waking up, pulling back the curtains and having the most incredible view of the jungle all around. There was so much to explore on the grounds, I wish I had booked more nights. The food was all very good and the staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. I did forget how to get to my treetop palace and the staff was gracious enough to guide me back. |If you have a hard time with balance or walking, I would recommend discussing your stay options with the staff before booking as some of the areas are more challenging to get to. Getting to the tents was a bit of a hike but completely worth every sore muscle. And you can book a massage to work out any soreness! |I did book my massage a few days before arriving via email which I recommend. I was also able to book a car to some excursions through the hotel and that made for a stress free experience. Definitely download WhatsApp before the trip as this will be your main way of communicating with staff. |Will definitely return!

The exact right balance between closeness to nature and modern comfort. If you're used to luxury resorts and are looking for something different and more wild, this place is highly recommended. The accommodations are beautiful and unique, and the views are stunning. Food here is overall great too.

Such a beautiful way to land in Bali. ||We stayed at River Bend house and it was as magical as the promise on the website. Food was delicious. The staff across the entire property were wonderful, a real commitment to customer service, anticipating our needs at every step.||Thank you for a truly delightful experience.

We stayed at the treehouse room and it was the best experience ever, totally worth it! The hotel itself is right in the jungle, so many beautiful areas to explore and see. The service in the hotel is amazing, everyone has been so welcoming and helpful throughout our time here. The 2 restaurants have great and authentic Balinese food and such a relaxing atmosphere. Big thanks to Wati in the reception area, who was a great help to us and checked us out really fast!

My family of three flew to Bali in early May '25. We started our adventure in Ubud, staying at Bambu Indah. We initially had to swap houses from our original reservation due to an event down at the base of the resort by the river and the staff was very apologetic for the change. We were more than happy to swap for the first night as you cant go wrong in any of their houses throughout the resort. The staff also moves all your bags for you up and down the many steps from the top of the resort to the base near the river. We stayed in Powan house and Riverbend house and both were very cool locations but very different in their pluses and minuses. Powan is right near the sunset bar and small pool (our 5 year olds favorite). It was very convenient for meals and drinks but only one bedroom for the 3 of us. The views are amazing and there is a private pool (we probably would stay here on a return trip). Riverbend is a two bedroom house with a very cool family space, with two private pools and is right next to the river. The bottom bedroom is fully enclosed while the top bedroom is basically a tree house made of bamboo. It is a very neat experience and our daughter stayed upstairs alone without an issue, although, as parents we did not sleep the best knowing we were in a jungle next to a river. It is near the breakfast spot which was very convenient, but about 300ft in elevation below the sunset bar. There are also many spring pools right along the river which on a different sort of trip we would have relaxed in all day. ||All in all, the service was amazing, the food was amazing, the views and vistas were incredible and it really is a magical spot in Bali. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and may go back again and try a different house. One thing we did miss and shouldn't have, is walking across the bridge by the river and checking out the crystal pools and rice fields. We kind of forgot about them and went there on checkout day and should have spent time on that side of the river. Anyways, highly recommended across the board.

Absolutely stunning resort and a treat to the eye! Food and drinks are top notch at the restaurants and sunset bar. Staff are always smiling, ready to help - excellent service ! The Balinese massage at the spa was the perfect finish to our stay at Bambu Indah. Definitely coming back !

Fantastic location set amongst jungle and rice fields. Clear water pools to bathe and a beautiful restaurant by the river. Loved staying in the tree top tent room, felt at one with the jungle, however, you may have some animal guests. Would return!

This is the best hotel I have ever been to. So unique and intentional with incredibly design, food and service. They really made our stay in Ubud amazing. If you can manage it, you should really try to stay here for at least one night. If not come visit with a day pass.
