We enjoyed an amazing stay here. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The amenities were lovely, and the spa was truly divine. We really appreciated the location - central for exploring the nearby shops and streets, yet peaceful and quiet within the resort and pool area. It's a beautifully designed resort - not too big, not too small, which gives it a really personable and relaxed feel. The food and drinks available at all the eateries were wonderful.

The workers are fantastic and friendly, they take pride in their work and the people at front desk make an outstanding effort at remembering each of the guests! Rooms are kept clean without privacy being intruded. Nice pools, nice food and drink available, excellent air conditioning and space in the rooms. All round decent, thank you!

Alaya Resort Ubud has a lot of potential, but your satisfaction will depend on your expectations. It's not a budget option, so it's important to understand what you're paying for. Pros: * Location: Excellent--close to central Ubud, restaurants, and shops, yet surprisingly quiet. * Cleanliness: The rooms and facilities were spotless. * Staff: Professional and responsive to inquiries. * Extras: The resort offers a variety of complimentary activities and guest discounts. Cons: * Design & Accessibility: The resort is beautiful but not ideal for those with mobility issues or large luggage due to stairs and uneven paths. * Room Design: I found the room layout impractical, especially the sink positioned next to the bed. * Lack of Personal Touch: Despite it being my birthday, no staff acknowledged it--not even a simple greeting. It left me feeling that guest care is more transactional than personal. * Room Issues: My room had a strong mould smell, which triggered my asthma. This was serious and disappointing. * Noise Problems: There was a loud event four nights that went on until nearly midnight, without prior notice from the hotel. When I was moved to a different room, it was located near ongoing construction. * Facilities: No separate children's pool, which may matter to guests seeking a quieter atmosphere. Tips for future guests: Ask in advance about possible construction or events during your stay, and confirm whether room features meet your personal preferences and health needs.

I have stayed at Alaya for 4 nights now and am very sad to leave. I am staying at a different resort the next four nights and tried to cancel, but I have already prepaid. Every staff member is incredibly kind, the room was beautiful and clean. I got a complementary room upgrade when I arrived without even asking for it. It has been an extremely relaxing experience. I had two massages included in my stay and they were fantastic! I already recommended this hotel to my cousin who may be traveling to Ubud in a couple of months. I cannot speak more highly of the resort. Great location with easy access to the city center, great pool area, fantastic food, and quick room service, and overall a beautiful relaxing vibe. Come, stay here, you won't regret it!!

Alaya was awesome, recommend to all couples and families staying Ubud. Central in town. Staff always friendly and attentive, clean rooms daily. 2 pools one great for kids as has shallow end where parent can sit with toddler. Bar in pool area again attentive staff. Blissful massage at the spa, lovely buffet and order breakfast. We did 1 half day tour with Alaya, good value and they arranged for us to go to Mayson Elephant Sanctury.

We had an amazing stay at Alaya Hotel! The breakfast pack for our early checkout was such a thoughtful touch. The cocktails were delicious, and the truffle omelette for breakfast was to die for! The highlight was definitely the spa treatment--I felt like I was in heaven. Best spa treatment out of my whole trip around Bali. I did treatment with singing bowls. I will recommend to friends and family! I can't wait to come back again one day! Thanks Deb

This is my second stay in Alaya and I loved it. Very close to yogabarn and the restaurants/bars. Staff is amazing, always smile on the face and being helpful wherever they can. I caught a fever on the second day of my stay and they sent me a brand new thermometer, and arranged free car service to the hospital and back in the middle of the night, offering me great ease of mind. Special shoutout to Jaya who was the driver and also reception staff and he was so helpful and wonderful. Thank you so much for making my stay an absolutely amazing one.
