Maya Sanur Resort & Spa

I stayed at Maya Sanur Resort Bali for two nights, and honestly, it's easily one of the best 5 star resorts & hotels I've experienced. From the moment I arrived, the vibe was super chill yet elegant. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful without being overbearing which I really appreciated. The location is perfect if you're looking for a quieter part of Bali. It's right by the beach, with direct access, and surrounded by cute cafes and shops. The beachfront area is gorgeous, especially during sunrise. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed modern with a touch of Balinese charm. I loved the comfy bed and the fact that they paid attention to little details, like the aroma in the room and the ecofriendly touches. The breakfast buffet was solid lots of variety and good quality. The pool area, on the other hand, was a highlight. Super relaxing, plenty of loungers, and great cocktails from the bar with live music. Overall, Maya Sanur has a perfect balance of luxury and comfort. It's not overly flashy, but everything just feels right. I'd definitely come back, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a refined yet laid back stay in Sanur.

The most amazing tranquil resort. Loved the modern, comfortable pool access room. The staff were all so accommodating and went beyond to make your experience amazing. We did the hotels private yoga session, private bicycle tour, private cooking class and attended the full moon dinner and all were absolutely wonderful. The spa at maya was also next level. We had a couple of massages, facial, reflexology and all were amazing and the best spa experience we have had. This was our first time to Bali and thanks to Maya resort we can not wait to revisit

We really enjoyed our stay in Maya Sanur. Previously, we have been staying in Maya Ubud which is also absolutely fantastic. The room is nice, spacious, very well decorated, lots or light, a huge balcony, and there are two wash basins in the bathroom which is really comfortable! I was really happy to get a birthday cake upon check in (what a lovely gesture!) and surprisingly all staff with whom we communicated knew that it was my birthday. Also, heads off to the band in the tree bar he creates a wonderful vibe. Dinner was okay, nothing special. Buffet breakfast was not really impressive so we ended up having breakfast in Rue which was great. We had croissants with ham and cheese, overnight oats and Russian cottage cheese pancakes. I love that they serve decaf coffee- it seems a challenge to find it in Bali. Another thing that I want to mention is afternoon tea, free bicycles and even yoga classes for all guests. Thank you very much to all staff and GM this wonderful time in Maya.

Ayu Septima and Padmini very special beautiful people and excellent breakfast service. Thankyou so much for great hospitality and lovely smiles all the time. Always happy and helping. Also the daily yoga was fantastic, Amins class was soooo good, very inspiring to help us do our best with yoga..... The whole hotel staff are extremely helpful, attentive and accommodating to all requests. The spa was relaxing. I had best experience, the people are beautiful. This hotel I recommend to all.

We stayed for 3 nights, from April 1 to 4, 2025 at Impressive Lagoon Suites. The resort is not large (in comparison to other 5 stars resorts we have stayed before), but with proper settings it feels comfortable. The impressive lagoon suites (with additional 1 bed) is enough for a family of 5 people (which I gratefully thankful, because not many 5 stars resorts permit a family of 5 people stay in 1 room). The room is clean, very comfortable, and has good wifi connection for online game. The staff are very polite. They said we had a buttler service for staying at an impressive lagoon suites, who can be approached by whatsapp. Until the day we departed, they still didn't text me their buttler's whatsapp number . We also had an incident in the breakfast room when the staff chased us to collect the payment (they mistook us for other guest), which was quite embarassing. The problem was resolved with an apology after I contacted the front office. The pool is facing the beach and has a very excellent view during sunrise. Too bad the sun loungers have many birds' stools, please make sure the staff to clean them. The breakfast is quite good and the room dining has a good settings. You have to try Kuu resto (a Japanese resto), they taste very good.

Just stayed here for a week with our family of five. It is a lovely hotel. The rooms are beautiful and the staff are excellent. Tree bar is great for happy hour drinks. We usually eat out but in-house food at the hotel is very good too. Overall for us, it was not really fit for purpose because we have 3 Primary school aged boys who got a bit bored. They are too old for kids club activities (which anre aumed at 6 and under. The pool is a bit smaller than expected. If you have younger children or are a Group of adults or couple, I'd recommend this hotel. We will try somewhere with more activities For older kids next time.

Superb resort. Location right on beach. Rooms are lovely, spacious, clean and very comfortable. Pool was amazing with view of the beach. Gardens lush and well maintained. Food and restaurants in the resort were lovely and well priced. The staff were so lovely and couldn't do enough for you. This is our second stay at Maya and will definitely go back. Thankyou for making our stay so comfortable and enjoyable.

Room is very clean and the staff is friendly and their work is impeccable. There are 3 restaurants on the property but only tried 2 of them. |Breakfast is 3.5 out of 5 and Dinner at Kuu is 3 out of 5. The Sushi is ok at best. |Pool side is great as it overlooks the ocean. |Lots of stores and restaurants in the area. |Overall experience is 8/10
