SPOT ON 40543 Hotel Jyoti

The rooms are very bad for the price. We took two rooms. Both rooms are in the same condition, the mattress and pillows are like bricks.

There were lots of dead cockroaches everywhere. The bathroom was filthy, the flush doesn't work, the tap doesn't close properly, the shower was nasty it was rusty, the geyser doesn't work and it was concerning.The room was kind of dirty and it smelled bad that the staff had to spray room freshener. The walls were water damaged and soggy. And there was sadly no wifi and TV doesn't work. But the food was pretty good.

Not a nice experience. The rooms are old, property is very old. Dirty rooms with no proper sanitary. Very bad hygiene. We stayed for about 10 days here, the geyser was not working for 6 days! We were asked to take a bath at the other room. Rates are pretty damn high. I could have booked a 3 star hotel at this rate. Management and service needs vast improvement.

great food according to price

Although the hotel is hygienic and serves good food in the hotel restaurants itself.. but good hospitality is missing. They charges according to their wish and will.. and follow the nonsense tradition no access to double rooms for couples who have no marriage certificate and making money in the name of service tax..

Very disappointing experience of my stay in the hotel. Non-responsive staff when requested to change bed linen or provide fresh towel. Everything needs a makeover in this hotel. TVs are CRT, Geysers are very slow in heating, furnitures are not clean, the mosquito repellent still uses the 'tikia' / cartridge system (ineffective). Went during winters hence cannot comment on AC function during summers. Food in the restaurant below was however decent. Pretty dingy place I would say. Better places to stay at same/similar rates very closeby. Location is good, reasonably close to station and main market

Staff was very helpful. The hotel rooms gives you a classic 90's feel and I am not being sarcastic. Play a Kumar Sanu song, keep your phone aside and you are back in the 90's.

Room service very bad, bathroom dirty, staff are also rude, they charge extra than tarif. Worst experience ever I got. Plz don't go there.
