Wild Orchid Resort

The owner of this resort was initially polite at the time of booking but actually he is a fraud. He gave us AC room in which AC was not working and he charged us charges of AC room. The owner was not ready to talk at all about the non functional AC. He just wanted his full payment. He was blaming us for the AC. He is not at all professional and he abused us. There is no wifi facility in the room. There are lot of noise from the surroundings. There was lot of voltage fluctuations in the room. The staff is also very rude. I would not suggest to eat in their restaurant as they don't have any option available. They took lot of time to prepare just dal rice as the staff went out after half of the cooking. The staff locked us in the morning and was not opening the door even after lot of knocking at the door. Even the owner was not picking the call in morning. All in all not a good place to stay at all as you will lose your mental peace and self-respect and hard-earned money.

Don't get fooled by the pictures you see. The rooms are very small and ordinary enough. I had to pay Rs 1700/- per room(AC) which is not justifiable at all. Food is also very costly, Rs 160 per veg thali is absurd and food quality, presentation and taste are average. I also had an issue where the receptionist told me food could be ordered and consumed inside our rooms but at evening he told me it is not allowed. If we want to eat inside we have to order from their hotel only or have them outside. Otherwise there is no any other problem. People are well mannered.

Totally horrible experience. I work in IT sector, stayed here with my wife for a night, while travelling to Tawang. We booked AC room offline. The AC was not working so we complained but no action was taken. Instead they started shouting on us saying me might have done something wrong with it. The caretaker called owner but the owner stared abusing on call. Caretaker took the key of the room and also locked the entire campus from outside. It was a scary situation for us and we tho of calling police in the morning. In morning we decided to pay extra to care taker and exited somehow as we had to reach Tawang before sunset. If we had some more time I definitely complain this to police. Very horrible experience for us. Not safe at all.

Comfortable stay with clean rooms, polite staff, delicious food, and a fresh, peaceful campus. Highly recommended! Be happy

Location and room was ok. But staff behaviour was very bad. The food quality was extremely poor, and the chicken curry was spoiled.

The rooms are different than shown in pictures, I asked for pictures before giving advance but they didn't provide told me that rooms are almost same shown in pictures but it was not
