No. of people: 2 Room Name: Bor Kuwari Period: 12th April to 18th April We traveled from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to celebrate Bihu in Sivasagar(Sibsagar, formerly known as Rangpur, holds significant historical and cultural importance in Assam), and staying at Jetuka - Home Stay made the experience truly special. From the moment we arrived, the ambience of the place embraced us with calm and warmth. Surrounded by lush greenery, Jetuka feels like a peaceful cocoon--ideal for slowing down and soaking in the beauty of Assam's countryside. The landscaping and natural surroundings blend beautifully, offering a refreshing escape from the usual urban chaos. The interiors were clean, cozy, and tastefully designed, merging Assamese charm with modern convenience. Everything we needed was thoughtfully provided--from hot water and comfy bedding to a well-equipped kitchen and fast Wi-Fi(JioFiber). A special mention to the host, who was incredibly responsive and made our stay even more enjoyable. Their warmth and attention to detail really added to the overall experience. Jetuka is more than just a stay--it's a space to reconnect with nature and unwind. Perfect for couples, families, or solo travelers seeking peace and authenticity. We're grateful for the memories and would love to return!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful villa! The rooms in the homestay are thoughtfully designed, comfortable, and have a welcoming vibe. The owner, an incredibly kind and soft-spoken lady, made our experience even more special. She ensured that we felt right at home and went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. Her warmth and hospitality were truly heartwarming. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and well-maintained retreat. Would love to visit again!

We had an absolutely wonderful 2-night stay at Villa Jetuka in Sibsagar. From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality of the host made us feel right at home. The property is a serene haven surrounded by lush greenery, offering a perfect blend of comfort and local charm. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and tastefully decorated with Assamese elements that added a unique touch. Every detail was thoughtfully curated to ensure a comfortable stay. The location was wonderful, nearby to our event location along with close proximity to Sibsagar's historic attractions like the Rang Ghar, Talatal Ghar, and the majestic Sivadol temple. Villa Jetuka is not just a place to stay; it's an experience of Assamese culture Highly recommended !!!

Jetuka is a beautiful homestay where i along with my wife had spent 3 wonderful nights from 21st to 24th Nov,2024. The rooms are decorated with traditional assamese culture and products. The rooms, bathroom and the varendah are very clean and well maintained. The homestay has enough well maintained lawn space with trees and plants on all sides. The caretaker, Khemraj is very polite and took care of us during our stay. He provided very simple homely and tasty food which we still remember. The homestay has a spacious kitchen with all required amenities. The locality is very silent and secured. Every morning we could hear an aged man singing traditional assamese prayers which made us feel fresh and active. The host introduced us to Manash, an excellent local guide who explained to us in detail, the history of each Ahom monuments. Manash also took us to a naga village as well as to a sacred shakti peeth and a shiva temple of Ahom time. He also arranged a hired vehicle for local sightseeing. Lastly, Jetuka is a delightful homestay where i would definitely love to visit again.

the homestay is neat and tidy. unfortunately the reception was terribly poor. the owners were not present and after calling, a gentleman arrived who spoke absolutely no English. He meant well, but I think it was extremely negligent of the owners that they did not communicate with us. After some time and quite a few irritations later, I spoke to the owner on the phone, who was very rude, stiff and rude. the solution to this whole problem would have been if the owner had simply been present or guided us through the arrival. This was our most expensive accommodation and really the worst in terms of friendliness and helpfulness. no welcome water, no kettle. even when we asked to arrange a taxi they said no. I have been traveling through various countries, including India, for many years, but I have never been treated so unfriendly. Rating -1

One of the best experiences staying in the homestay, Jetuka. The ambience with traditional Assamese decorations, the cleanliness, the peace and serene neighborhood are truly appreciated. Very well maintained. Would love to visit again next time

Situated in a cozy location. Not too far from the Market Area. Optimum distance from the tourist spots. Rooms are clean, cozy and the courtyard is full of greenery. The owner is a very sweet lady who helped us get checked in early as the room we booked was available. 10/10 would recommend.

My family and I had a very comfortable short stay at Jetuka house. The rooms in the outhouse are tastefully decorated exhibiting local culture and products. The rooms, bathrooms and porch overlooking a beautiful lawn were very clean. The house is close to the market and eateries. Caretaker Khemraj was very polite and took good care of our needs. Being an intergenerational, all women group comprising of my mother, daughter and myself, security is an important issue which was not a bother at Jetuka house. The host introduced us to a local guide Manash who made the visits to Ahom monuments very informative alongwith a great experience of visiting sericulture farm.
