Hotel Kalpataru

I recently stayed at Kalpataru,silchar, and unfortunately, I forgot my pant in the room. After realizing it, I immediately contacted the hotel, but the response was extremely poor. The staff didn't make any real effort to search for my belonging, and their communication was completely unprofessional and unhelpful. A hotel should take responsibility and assist guests properly, especially when it comes to lost items. Very disappointing experience -- I will not be staying here again and do not recommend it to others.

Not a good experience.. my 4 days trips I have stayed only one day in this hotel and checkout. Not friendly behaviour found from here..I don't expect from them..

The rooms are ok... But one thing that I didn't like about this hotel was one of the managers...There were 2 managers (not really sure) but one was very nice and friendly but the other one was so rude and not friendly...he would not even speak in Hindi and always reply in Bengali. This makes it very difficult for someone who has visited Silchar for the first time. I have not stayed there ...but this review is for my friend who recently stayed there and he had a very hard time. Other than that manager's behaviour, all other staffs seem to be quite good.

Hight expensive very very expensive Room service so expensive

Very good and sophisticated accommodation available. Both A/C and non A/C rooms are there for guests in moderate rate. Management is sincere and always positive to improve the quality of their hospitality. Well connected by rail, road and air. Indian food quality is good. Cleanliness and hygiene is well maintained.

Most prominent location of Silchar town.Best available communication from there throughout the city & airport. Hotel is good with good quality of service.

The city has very few hotels and this is among not a good one. This is a very small city where you cannot expect great hotels and very good service levels. This place is huge & room sizes are also of sufficient size and clean too but the ambiance of the rooms are poor and also filled with smell. The food is not great, please be aware that the parantha of this hotel is king size and one is enough for an individual. The food menu is funny, the spellings are written as it is spoken in bengali language...and the laundry card has the rates of each and every garment an individual uses. Overall it was not a good choice.
