Hotel Cachar Club

I visited the restaurant. Horrible food and service. Salt and pepper corn which was not cooked properly. Kungpao chicken was smelling like poultry. Wasn't washed properly. Noodles was good. It's like street side food for the price of 5star hotel.

A well-maintained hotel offering clean rooms and courteous staff. The ambiance is welcoming, and the location is convenient for travelers. The restaurant serves a variety of cuisines, and the breakfast spread is commendable. Overall, it's a comfortable place to stay with good amenities.

We visited Cachar Club, which was very beautiful with its elegant interior. However, the service was disappointing. It was as if they didn't know how to smile .The staff seemed unfriendly and unwelcoming, showing bias towards hotel guests with extra attention, thanking them, and holding doors. Our interaction with the cashier was unpleasant. He asked me to pay online, so I asked about paying by cash, and he replied (hogaaa tohhh) with some expression as if he was annoyed. I would appreciate it if they would treat all guests with the same amount of warmth they reserve for hotel guests. The staff's behavior was really off-putting, especially when we took photos - they stared as if we were doing something wrong. The food was average. It's no surprise that previous visitors could not take pictures freely because of the staff's behavior. Interestingly, some hotel guests were kind and even offered to take photos for us without being asked. I would just like to say one thing that being kind doesn't cost you anything.

A nice place with great ambience and warm, efficient service. The food was excellent, and Chef Sriman ensured all guest preferences were taken care of. The staff were courteous and made the stay truly enjoyable. Recommended!

I liked it a lot and every staff here is very good, especially Raj's behavior and cooperation made it very good. I would like to thank the hotel authorities for organizing such a beautiful event.

Cachar Club has a pleasant and classy ambience, with a touch of heritage charm that makes the environment feel elegant and peaceful. It's a well-maintained place, and definitely gives off a premium vibe. The staff members are friendly and welcoming, which added a positive note to our visit. We visited for the Sunday buffet, which cost around 850 + GST per person. While we were excited to try it, the overall buffet experience didn't quite meet our expectations. The menu was just okay, nothing extraordinary for the price point. In the starter section, there was only one non-veg item--chicken wings--while the rest were veg. For a buffet in this price range, that felt a bit underwhelming. In the non-veg section, there were only 5 dishes in total (including the starter). Among them was Sorse Ilish, which we were looking forward to, but unfortunately, it was a major letdown. The gravy had a bitter taste, and the dish felt poorly prepared. Moving to the dessert section, there was no ice cream or premium options, which was surprising. A buffet of this cost usually includes at least some basic frozen desserts. To be fair, I haven't tried their regular a la carte menu, so I can't comment on that. But based solely on the buffet, I'd say the taste was average and the spread didn't justify the price tag. Everything else was nice--the place looks good, the staff were attentive, and the vibe is perfect for a relaxed meal with friends or family. But if you're planning to go just for the buffet, I'd suggest managing your expectations.

Excellent behaviour of staffs, specially Miss Monirun of House Keeping, she always very active in her duties and completes those on time....|Whenever we ask for any house keeping related issues, she promptly handles it.|Including today's room cleaning experience.

Very good Hotel. Neat and clean room, delicious food, great location, polite and well behaved staff. Mr Babon Roy was very good in his service.
