Maibong Eco Resort

A rustic peaceful property with cozy clean rooms and cottages having all modern facilities. Great service and food by a team led by the owner himself.|The location is also just right. Only about 10 mins from the Park entrance by Jeep.|The owner a nature lover himself, the property looked like a haven for various kinds of birds. The greatest attraction was a flock of hornbills in the property itself. It was thrilling to watch and take photos of these birds from such close quarters.|We could not have asked for more !!

We did not stay here but stopped by for lunch. I recommend this place for clean authentic Assamese meals. The seating is by a lotus pond, which truly takes the experience up a notch.

I was truly disappointed with my overpriced food and indifferent service.They charge 170 for a so called veg thali which comprises one masoor dal, rice, one mixed sabji, papad and some dry pieces of carrot and cucumber. Also my experience with their chicken curry was disappointment. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone to visit this Resort. Don't waste your money for their disgusting service.

It's a small but beautiful resort at Pobitora. If you are a wildlife lover specially bird lover, this is a must place for stay. You can find different sunbirds , leaf birds in the hotel compound itself. Food is very good. You can spot hornbills during breakfast time ( little luck required). Very nearer to the sanctuary. They will arrange saffari and provide guide. I will recommend this beautiful place.
