Arya Eco Resort, Pobitora

Very good eco friendly rooms, top notch service in an offbeat location. If you want to find your inner peace among nature and animals and birds then this is where you should visit. Hotel manager Kausar is an excellent guy with good staff. They will cook you lovely food. Just tell them what you are looking for and they will organise and help you with a lovely itinerary making your stay special. It's a bit pricey but given the location is very remote there's nothing can be done by any party.

Excellent place to stay at! The staff is very cooperative and goes out of their way to help the customer. It is right next to the Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary. Food was tasty too! Also the staff is very friendly and took me around the village in my free time. I was solo and I felt very safe here. 100 percent recommend. Go for it.

Arya Eco Resort is a quaint little place for a short getaway location close to Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary. The cottage rooms are spacious and equipped and the staff is exceptionally well behaved and welcoming. They helped us explore all the activities available around the place and provided seamless booking of boat safari/ jeep safari. The food at the restaurant has the typical homely flavour of Assam. Definitely could be your top stay options around the sanctuary.

My wife and I have previously visited Pobitora but always returned the same day. This time we decided to halt for a night and experience a more relaxed stay and visit round all of Pobitora's sites. Probably the wisest decision we have made in a while including zeroing in on ARYA ECO RESORT owing to its favourable location. As it was coming to the end of February, the traffic around town was manageable including the fewer number of tourists and picnickers milling around....which is normally the case in the months of November and December. We found the rooms cosy and comfortable, the services rendered by Kauser and Kuddus prompt and courteous and the food served hot and delicious. Couldn't ask for anything more!! The staff also helped us book the boat for Dolphin spotting and sunset view, the morning elephant ride and cycling around town. We also took their recommendation of a visit to an ancient temple on a hilltop from where one is also treated to an awe-inspiring view of the Brahmaputra river. Totally rejuvenated by the wholesome experience. :))

Excellent place for its proximity to the jeep safari booking and start point. They also help in organizing local transport, and guide in boat safaris also. Good food too, though no buffet breakfasts here. Their portion sizes are good and excellent value for money. Rooms are well-appointed, though they could have been more spacious. Bathrooms can be better maintained than currently.

Location very near to the sanctuary. Eco friendly rooms. The resort is beautiful and nicely maintained. Staff is friendly and helps you for books safaris. One can also roam around the village.

It is a budget resort having the basic amenities. The food served is homely. The best part of the resort is its proximity to the jeep safari though resort staff arranges for such safaris. The space in the resort is adequate for parking of cars and play area for children.

One of the best eco-resorts in Mayong village, nestled near the Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary, is this charming hotel. The staff is incredibly supportive and generous, making you feel right at home. With a total of four clean and comfortable rooms, hot water is available in all. The staff's warmth and hospitality were truly remarkable. They even invited me to a local celebration and offered me delicious food, which left me overjoyed. I highly recommend this place.
