Monikanchan Lodge is a good choice for lodging, with decent rooms and staff, and a convenient location on the main road. However, the on-site restaurant on the second floor is considered too expensive. It's recommended to eat at a nearby "dhaba" called Junbile for more affordable options. Food costs in Assam are generally high, with basic "thalis" ranging from 300 to 400 rupees, so it's wise to inquire about prices before ordering. Liquid refreshments are cheaper if purchased from shops selling items from Meghalaya site.

Best Lodge in Jagi Road. Prime Location , Well ventilated Clean Room , Amenities all in good condition. ( A hot water geyser can be used any time of the Day, the best part) Nice Room service. I would definitely recommend this budget Lodge.
