We are a family of four from Scotland that stayed in GUNIN INN for 4 nights. The hotels location is off the main road but still close for everything you need. The room is large with comfortable beds And hot water. The owner and his family were amazing, kind, and helped us with everything. They shared with us the beauty of the asamase People explained the culture and showed us special plants of assam. In Margarita, there is also a very good coal museum and nearby tea plantation. If we could give six stars, we would because off the family.

This guest house is an underrated gem hidden in Margherita. The host family is very warm and welcoming and their food is delicious traditional home made Assamese cuisine at affordable rates. Must visit for all tourists.
