Repose Highway Resort

It's a highway resort of the Repose Bakery Group, on the way to Tezpur, just a few kilometres before Mangaldoi. We just arrived there to dine in....not stay. The have ample parking space for cars as well as two wheelers. The entrances are universally accessible. The toilets are also very good, clean and continuously maintained. Now on the food....they offer a variety of food on the menu....we tried both Assamese Thali as well as Indo-chinese. The taste is quite admirable.... however the quantity is of great value!! The staff are good and responsive. They also have counters for display and sale of bakery items, sweetmeat, etc. One can sit in ac dining hall or prefer to sit outside among landscaped gardens.

We recently stayed at Repose Highway Resort, and while the property itself is well-maintained, the staff's behavior was appalling, completely ruining the experience. From the moment we arrived, we faced rude and unprofessional treatment. When we inquired about the room tariff, the receptionist, Mr. Dhruva Jyoti Deka, was extremely arrogant. Instead of addressing our questions, he kept interrupting us and saying 'no' before we could even complete a sentence. It was clear that he had no intention of listening to us. Despite the unpleasant welcome, we still decided to book a room and paid 9000 in advance. Later, we had dinner at the resort, but the food was absolutely terrible. The egg curry tasted like it was made with the same curry as the aloo ki sabji, showing no effort in preparation. The next morning, things got worse. As soon as we stepped out of our room for breakfast, the staff kept pestering us for the food payment. We clearly told them we would settle the bill after eating, but they kept coming back every few minutes, almost as if they suspected we would run away without paying. This behavior was extremely disrespectful and unnecessary. The rice was half-cooked, and the overall quality of the food was far below acceptable standards. While the property itself is beautiful, the staff's terrible attitude, poor service, and awful food make it a place I cannot recommend.

As a foreigner I find it difficult to identify good food here. This was the place where it was delicious. Fish, shrimps and noodles - so tasty and so good. Very clean environment and friendly service. Thanks

Rooms and washrooms are clean. Location is on the highway. Food is tasty and service is good. Enough parking space.

Food is good but cant say the same about restaurant's service. Small little things like giving glasses, water, onion, lemon etc we have to ask them multiple times.

Brilliant experience in Assam. The new addition of the state of art bar Aabeli makes the resort one of the must visit places in Assam.

rooms are clean, bedsheet shower, room service is really good. if only food could match them I hail from up so for me taste of dishes was not upto the mark. i ordered veg
