Bougainvillea Retreat & Spa

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Bougainvillea Retreat & Spa with my family, and I must say, it was one of the most memorable experiences we've had. We had booked the Yellow Bougainvillea Premium Queen Machaan Hut. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and genuine smiles from the staff. We stayed in Room No. 115. The place itself is beautifully maintained, set in a serene location that allowed us to truly relax and unwind. Our stay was incredibly comfortable, the rooms were spotless, well-equipped and designed for rest and peace. The food was a highlight of our trip, every meal was delicious and fresh. We tried the Oven Baked Fish, Prawns Salt and Pepper, Chicken Pakoda, Chicken Bharta and Garlic Naan all of which were very well prepared. The Breakfast are also pretty good, offering Eggs of Choice, Parathas, Chole Bhature, Cereals, Sandwich, Fresh Fruits, Tea/Cofee etc. The staff deserves special appreciation for their kindness and attention to detail. They were always ready to help and made sure every aspect of our stay was smooth and enjoyable. This resort has everything you could ask for i.e., comfort, great food, a beautiful environment, and truly exceptional service. I would definitely visit the place again and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and joyful escape.

I recently got the pleasure of staying here over weekend.From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel special. The reception team was incredibly sweet and attentive. The amenities at the resort were top-notch. Dining options were diverse and delicious, with something for every palate. The Head chef made sure each guest has been content & curated menu according to each person's preferences. I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with exceptional service. I can't wait to return!

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant with stunning natural views and delicious food. The ambiance was peaceful, the dishes were full of flavor, and my kid had a great time running around and enjoying the friendly vibe. Perfect spot for a relaxing family outing!

The resort could not meet our expectation at all. The starters we ordered were average. Service was really poor. Had to wait for more than half an hour to get our mocktails served. We ordered Biryani for lunch and it turned out to be the worst Biryani I ever had. Actually it was not Biryani, it tasted like fried rice. Overall it was a very disappointing experience. A private party was going on at the A/C restaurant so we were directed to the open air restaurant which was not so comfy on a hot weather. Before visiting the resort I called up to confirm if any private party was scheduled there but they lied and confirmed that no such event is there. I shall never recommend anyone to visit this resort. A total waste of money and time.

Wonderful stay at this resort. We stayed in white rooms, which are close to the restaurant and pool. Very spacious rooms with a veranda. There are sitting places inside the room as well as in the veranda. Comfortable bed, bathroom with all necessary toiletries, writing table, fridge, water heater. The property is huge and has long walkways. The restaurant offers a well spread complimentary breakfast. The staff is very helpful. The only drawback is the location. The property is around 10Km from the airport and you will have to spend around 1500/- for the to and fro transport. The rooms other than the white are close to the nearby rail line and can be noisy.

I brought 11 foreign clients to this property in Guwahati expecting a smooth experience, but it was a huge disappointment. The staff was rude, unprofessional, and completely disorganized when it came to handling the billing -- a basic task they clearly couldn't manage. While we waited an unreasonable amount of time for our food, it wasn't even worth the wait. The food was bad, and to make matters worse, they charged us double for the beer. Not only was this a simple mistake, but no one seemed capable of correcting it efficiently. Overall, the service was sloppy, the staff was unhelpful, and the entire experience was frustrating. I would never recommend this place to anyone, especially for business travel. A complete letdown.

We recently stayed at Bougainvillea Retreat & Spa and were truly impressed by the resort's willingness to listen to feedback and continuously enhance the guest experience. The White Super Deluxe room offered a beautiful space to relax, and the staff made every effort to ensure a comfortable and pleasant stay. The team has clearly taken important steps to improve their amenities and service. We noticed significant upgrades that reflect their genuine commitment to guest satisfaction. Special thanks to the management for their responsiveness and thoughtful gesture. Amazing location, amazing service. We went for a day outing with family. Food is very average honestly, infact the Kung pay chicken had a smell. Hot chocolate brownie wasn't hot at all, it was a chocolate cake. Disappointed with the food taste and quality, but service was lovely. Waiters were warm and welcoming! Overall, we had a good time
