Hotel Gaurang Valley

It's a good hotel in the town with good furnished rooms. Bathroom needs better lighting specially at the basin for face washing and shaving. Geyser is of lower wattage so hardly you can get a bucketfull of hot water at one time. Restaurant is good but service needs to be faster.

Rooms are small but adequate. Ample storage with required amenities. Staff are very helpful and polite. Excellent food. Kudos to the chef. Decent buffet breakfast. Safe for female travellers. |Hotel has two towers connected at 2nd floor level .... a swimming pool can be easily added by the management to give a much better experience to the guests.

It is one of the best hotels in Kokrajhar. A bit run down. In the room (410) I stayed, there were green deposits in the bathroom window sill. There was a small geyser for hot water, but the mixer didn't work properly, and the water out from the shower was scalding hot even when the knob was put at full cold!

Located right next to the main road. Bar and restaurant both are good. They have a huge ground next to it. Although the room charges are more than it should be.

Worst stay. Totally unsatisfied. Rate is too high but service is worst.

Stayed for 1 day. Location is nearby railway station, in the main town, so convenience wise it's really good. Overall experience was decent. Rooms and facilities were okay. Service point of view they could have done better. Decent food, breakfast is complimentary. Room rent is expensive for the location, not sure why drinkable water is chargeable.

It is the only good hotel in Kokrajhar with decent facilities. Has a bar, and restaurant. The rooms had cockroaches, and the mini fridge did not work. The breakfast spread was quite poor and can improve. The service is prompt. People attend to your calls.
