Hotel Janata Paradise

Went there for breakfast. Kudos to the entire team for maintaining the Raj Era theme without missing out on the amenities. Food is very good. A little pricey but you rarely get that good Indian breakfast in Jorhat. Service could be a little faster but that's not a gripe. Positive experience overall.

Heard a lot about the food served there, so went there for lunch. Food was really good. Excellent service by the ladies there. We ordered veg thalis along with local chicken curry and fish tenga. The chicken they served was local chicken (sometimes some people do fool customers with broiler chicken, but not in this case). But the best part was the fish tenga. I just got small portion of the tenga, as my husband finished all (it was sp good). I loved the khaar in the thali, was lip-smacking. Toilet was old fashioned but clean. Interiors not much good. food rating 5/5, but Overall rating is 4/5, deducted 1 due to interiors.

One of the best restaurant, which serves traditional assamese food. A couple of senior ladies serves the food there & by their hospitality it feels like as if they're feeding f their guests at home. Awesomeness. Located here in Baruah Chaitali near Hotel Dilip.

Very good ethnic Assamese cuisine served here by local ladies ,wearing traditional gamucha which is very unique ,cool and clean,but the hotel is very old and it's founder was a Bezbaruah family whom they have chains of hotels in Sivsagar and Guwahati, All are called Paradise Hotels,For parking Janata Paradise has no such facilities.

It's okay only!!its assamese thali is very nice feels like eating at home for assamese peoples..and it's very hygenic hotel and here resturant staffs take assamese gamusa on their soulders its really very good sign for the assamese culture..but the region I have given 3 stars because here chicken is tasty only but not much but it very fresh...but not so tasty..that's I have cutted two stars otherwise is said to be most oldest,popular and best hotel for eating in jorhat..

Not a paradise but ok for janata (common people) to stay overnight. Have good traditional Assamese meals in the restaurant. Rooms are small. Staffs are good.

Very homely stay, dedicated and friendly stuffs, clean ambience and homely food at reasonable prices. The place is located at the heart of the town easily accessible from Railway station, Inter State Bus Terminal and Airport.
