Kanoka Village Resort

Please dont go as per reviews. They are mostly from one day picnic visitors. We came from Arunachal to this place.Last 5 to 7 km roller coaster ride was very tiring. No road to reach. Road we took as per map showed was parallel to railway track & kachha road. After reaching with such ride, receptionist was not even kind enough to ask water. Rooms are very far from reception & there is only vehicle service to reach rooms is for Luggage. Vehicle service is not for people. Room shown in photos on google map is only one single room in property. What we got was very tiny room. Restaurant is in middle from reception & room, still you have to walk a lot every time you need anything. No wifi service in room. Food quality is very bad. Service is veryyyyyyyyyyy slow. Breakfast options are very limited. You will not get bread butter also as it is not in the menu. Daily breakfast is fixed. No change. Day adventure activities are ok but its so hot & humid you cannot stand for more than 2 hrs. So,if you are travelling from other states to visit Assam, there is absolutely nothing this resort is offering that is worth visiting. Don't take off route to visit this place.

"A Perfect Romantic Getaway in Nature's Lap!" Our stay at Konoka Village Resort was nothing short of magical. As a couple, we were looking for a peaceful escape from the city, and this place exceeded all our expectations. Surrounded by lush greenery and the soothing sounds of nature, it felt like we had stepped into a serene paradise. The cottages were beautifully designed, combining comfort with a rustic charm that made our stay cozy and romantic. The staff were extremely hospitable and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Every meal was a delight -- fresh, local, and delicious. What we loved the most was the calmness and privacy the resort offered -- perfect for couples wanting to spend quality time together. Morning walks, starry nights, and heartfelt conversations by the bonfire made our trip unforgettable. Highly recommended for couples looking to reconnect with nature and each other. We'll definitely be coming back!!!

Kanoka , was really good a few years back. But now it is just a heap of mess with no proper management. The staff has no basic knowledge of hospitality. They lack politeness and really in need of learning "basic hospitality skills". The rooms are not top notch clean too. The quantity of food as per the price is not sufficient. The staff has severe tantrums and not even has an ounce of understanding their customers. Their maintenance has dropped to a below average levels. I will never visit this place . It is just a waste of money and nothing more.

I've visited this place twice - once on an office trip in February 2024, when I found the place to be quite good, and second time with family in April 2025- the place has really deteriorated in 1 year. Among the positives would be the ambience of the property and the activities, however, excessive crowd on holidays may ruin the experience. The following are the drawbacks / areas that need improvement: 1. Service - As cottages are quite far from reception / restaurant, prompt e-rickshaw service is a must when traveling with young kids/senior citizens. The promptness was missing. Inexperienced staff at check-in counter also led to slow check-in. 2. Lack of information - Information brochure highlighting the facilities and activities was not placed in the room. We walked all the way to the restaurant only to learn that tea is only served in the live kitchen on the other side of the property. Intercoms are not available; Mobile nos. often went unanswered. 3. Poor maintenance/ Lack of cleanliness: The doormats in the room were really dirty - smelled like dogs. The toilets were not clean. There was littering in the areas behind the cottages as well as the river bank (ofcourse some guests would be to blame here, who littered the place when dustbins are available all over the place). There were used diapers by the river. 4. Food quality: The food quality in the restaurant was severely lacking. Also, instructions were not followed regarding preparation, so the kids who couldn't tolerate spicy food went hungry. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this property to families traveling with young kids or senior citizens.

The worst resort there ever is to visit for a family.. insects and caterpillars fill up your room. Not grt food and service by housekeeping.Activities in here are just namesake and just photo pretty, boating pond smells like drainage water, N moreover they charge you for pointless things and facities that u have not even used. I highly do not recommend this. So do this resort at your own risk.

I liked the experience of activities and all but the worst part was the restaurant, interior was pretty but the service was so bad, the waiters were so disrespectful, they try to look down on people who come to explore, I have never seen people with this level of low grade behavior. I have dined in fine restaurants but have never seen this illiterate behavior I hope they hire people who know how yo do their job I didn't say anything for the sake of my own manners Overall I enjoyed my time there

The hotel experience is amazing! The staff is continuously making sure you have everything you need. They make their own tea, offer tourist activities, have a lovely pool and serve great cocktails at the bar. Especially for us they made an elaborate assam dinner. You will not regret coming here and love the great food! Must see place in Assam.

Services are par excellence. Mr Manjit Nath was always present to help us with all our needs and fancies. Overall experience is beautiful. Will visit again.
