I have booked this property through booking.com after the booking the host messaged me on WhatsApp to pay 50% of the total amount and I paid the same. When me alongwith my ailing mother who was coming from a hospital and my wife and 4 year old kid reached the property the caretaker asked me to pay remaining amount and then only he can show us the rooms. After I have made the payment the rooms were shown to us. The rooms were in very pathetic condition and the washrooms were very filthy and dirty. When I called the host and informed him about the condition of the rooms he told me to wait till the caretaker cleans the rooms even though I have informed him well in advance about the checkin time. It's a basic rule in hospitality industry to provide clean and well maintained rooms to the guests at the time of checkin and the host of this Homestay asked us to wait for cleaning the rooms even after taking 50% of booking amount one day before. The conditions of the washrooms were such that they can't be cleaned in 10 or 15 minutes. I called the host and asked him to refund us half of the total booking amount but he didn't paid any heed to our request and told us that we can leave his property . The only thing they are good at is how to take out money from customers. I have already initiated a complaint at Consumer Dispute Redressal Forum. I request all of you not to make reservations at this property unless you don't want to waste your money. A very disgusting experience afterall

I think the room didn't justify its price which is is over 1200. The matress was not clean and some plug points are not working properly and to be honest you find a lot of better hotels in this price in guwahati with AC and TV facilities which is not included in our stay

Very nice place to stay. We stayed here for a night on our visit to meghalaya. Its located at a very nice place in guwajati. The surrounding is quiet and peaceful. The rooms are well maintained with all the basic amenities and big lcd screen. This property has a variety of options for rooms. One can go for either double or triple occupancy. The caretaker of this house is a very nice and helping man. The breakfast they serve is complimentary and home cooked. Also the owner of this property is a very helpful guy and he helped us alot with all the travel arrangements. This is a property worth the money and you wont regret it. I suggest you book through online booking sites as those sites will give u a handsome discount. Also its located very closely to the Assam state zoo (only 7 min walk!!).

Best stay so far for me Guwahati. Very Nice view from the balcony. The family room where I stayed is really like a room in our homes. Very spacious and cozy. The staffs are good and rooms are well maintained. Even the house owner stays in the same compound, they have maintained the garden and the flowers so beautifully, you can have a little chit chat with the Aunty if you're lucky enough to meet her during your stay :-)

The accommodation is nice for stay during business purposes. The staff is good and friendly. The locality is good and this being a homestay, one can feel at home. The food is plain and simple, don't have huge expectations. You get complimentary breakfast and pay for dinner which match the local rates.

I stayed twice and loved staying there. The family room was spacious, clean and the caretakers (specially Alokesh) were very friendly and gentle. The neighborhood is very tranquil & quiet. After a heavy day of travelling, that's exactly what I wanted. I agree it is a bit far from Paltan Bazar but it is not remote. There are a good amount of malls (like City Centre, Centro) and restaurants nearby. Besides, great value for the money

Wonderful place to stay. I love the way how things are organised which brings a feeling of a home. The caretaker dada's provided good breakfast and are well-behaved. Love the peaceful environment in Tranqville. Every service ( Uber or food) comes to ur guesthouse we didn't need to bother about it. We stayed from 26-29 oct and had a good experience. The bathroom were clean and hygienic and the room were cleaned everyday. I love the paintings in the house.. We are glad that we choosed Tranqville...we had had homelike experience-
