Prashaanti Tourist Lodge, ATDC

I stayed with family in 2nd May But it was worst experience. It's a ASSAM Tourism property at prominent place. Rooms are in pathetic condition. No regular cleaning. Linen , towel are also torn condition. No hot water in both rooms 304,306. No channel on TVs I will recommend for immediate repairing of rooms.

Not so good. Franchise Restaurant is there but service is not upto the mark. Foods are not available all time such as breakfast is not available. Hotel service is not upto the mark. Except location of this hotel is excellent. Its near to Guwahati Railway Station and different tourist places .

Staying at Prashanti Lodge, Guwahati (ATDC) was an absolute disaster. From the moment I stepped in, it was clear that this place is a neglected mess. The blankets were torn and barely usable, the bedsheets looked like they hadn't been washed in ages, and the entire room reeked of poor maintenance. The waterlines were leaking everywhere, turning the bathroom into a swamp. Zero upkeep, zero hygiene, and zero professionalism. To make things worse, the so-called restaurant is a joke. They didn't even bother serving breakfast, leaving guests to fend for themselves. The staff seemed completely indifferent, as if they had given up on running a decent lodge. This place is a disgrace to ATDC's name and an embarrassment to Guwahati's hospitality scene. If you value your comfort, hygiene, and sanity, do yourself a favor and stay far away from this dump !

Vintage property located at prime location i.e. very much nearby Guwahati Railway Station. Rooms are old, basic amenities available. Food is very good. You will be served delicious meal in traditional plates of copper.

It is good. The location, people and restaurant at ground floor is good.Its specious. I stayed two nights with family. But if they sell Assam tea (with reasonable price) then most of tourists will buy it.

A very sad state of affairs.. Situated in the heart of the city, walking distance from the Gawhati railway station...but very poorly maintained.. We are central government employees so definitely give preference to government guest houses . Sadly this decision was wrong. * One towel for two persons *Taps are very old, difficult in using *Leaking taps *Cleanliness is ok Altogether it's a No-No

Decent location, excellent service but rooms need more maintenance. Has room for improvement in maintaining the rooms. Happy with service, staff are kind and courteous. Kitchen closes at 930 pm.

We visited Prashanti tourist lodge on 28th May and the clean rooms (AC deluxe) were good with balconies and adjoined small dressing rooms. Ample places with clean large bathrooms. But it needs maintenance. We found water overflowing from the sistern of a commode in one bathroom and in other top of commode shower is getting separated being loose. Otherwise staff were supportive and food was good at restaurant with prompt service, though the price was a bit high. But just outside there was a good hotel for folding. Being just outside the Guwahati station the location is great. Overall a good experience.
