Mayur Hotel

Unacceptable behavior observed at the hotel. The level of service was non-existent. We specifically requested air-conditioned rooms but were assigned a non-air-conditioned one, despite the differing policies for each type. Additionally, there was no provision for Wi-Fi or any other amenities. We were initially shown one room, only to be assigned a smaller, unpleasant-smelling room. In summary, this experience was exceedingly disappointing. It appears they may have posted fraudulent reviews to attract guests.

Sharing this on behalf of my friend who's like a sister to me. She had a negative experience during her stay. The staff didn't treat her well, which was unexpected and upsetting. Hoping the service improves.

Don't trust on Google ratings or any star ratings. Looks like 1 star hotel. Don't trust on their images of rooms. They send images in that way, that rooms looks mordern. But no hygeine, no cleanliness, no proper ventilation, very old furniture in their rooms

Booked 3 semi suit rooms and one junior suit room on 29/12/2024. On reaching hotel at 9 PM with prior intimation, we had to wait for a long time as rooms were not ready!!! (though their check in time was at 12 PM) Further we found that our room category had been allotted to somebody else and the authority tried to push us in lower category room. Most disturbingly, we paid advance and booking slip was with us. Management is very poor!!! Such property may be avoided. Thanks

Room condition was very bad there were many cockroaches in the room.The bathroom wash basin was broken the room service was also very bad. The hotel authorities did not corporate with us after being seeing and telling the problem

We booked this hotel for two days in Guwahati. We had to pay all the money in advance for this. After arrival we were given two rooms which were completely clean, the plaster was removed from the walls and the blankets were also dirty. Even after informing the hotel authorities, they did not cooperate in any way. If we wanted hot water for food, they took extra charge. There was no geyser in the bathroom...we book 2 Double bed standard room

The hotel rooms are just pathetic. They are charging 2200 for a room and the condition of the rooms are horrible. The paint on the wall is just falling off. The Sofa is so dirty that you won't feel like sitting on it. Looks like this hotel has never been maintained well after its construction. They just have good reception area to attract customers and nothing else. The people at reception are so slow that they take a hell lot of time to serve a single customer. Not supportive at all.

If you're considering dining at Mayur Hotel in Guwahati, think twice. My experience was nothing short of disappointing. At 8 AM, I ordered an aloo paratha, expecting a reasonable wait time. The staff assured me it would be ready in 20 minutes, but it took nearly an hour. When the food finally arrived, it was utterly subpar--arguably the worst meal I've had in the city. Even street food vendors serve far superior quality. What made it even worse was the sheer negligence of the service. Another customer, who had already paid for his order, left in frustration after waiting for a few minutes. If you're in a hurry or have important commitments, avoid ordering food at this place. The level of irresponsibility in their service is unacceptable, and no one should have to endure such a terrible dining experience.
