Magic square hotel

I have stayed in two rooms there for few days with my family and had a overall pleasant experience. The hotel stuff and managers are very helpful , the locality is quiet, food taste good although a little expensive. The interior decoration of hall are quite nice; one of the interesting thing was the clocks in corridor; the clocks were seemed antique and remained you of 1700 century London. Although, One of the room was less spacious compared to other, had problem with bed in one and had problem with room's lock in another.

Room are not much maintained. Most of basic amenities are not available(only one small soap and water bottle was available in our rooms. TV was there but havung limited channels. Gyeser was not working in our room even they had not done anything to repair it even after multiple requests. They told to dial the number of reception mentioned in the room but no one will pickup the phone if required urgently & give irrelevent excuse for it.|Food quality are average but very much limited, hardly total 3-4 items. Though we had booked complementary breakfast plan but during our timing 9.40 am no items were available (mentioned breakfast timing 8.30am-10.30am). When we asked for it, they only made some puri (sabji was also made seperately), idli. Juice was not available. Fruit (not actually fresh) only available was banana. During lunch we asked for rice but they said it was not available at that time. Main course menus are also very much limited. For those reason we took dinner outside. Foods are very costly too.

Breakfast was really good. Room was clean and staff were helpful. Geasyer and lift was working. Parking is available in basement.

It's a decent hotel with clean rooms. The buffet breakfast was good - multiple options with taste. We ordered from their menu for dinner and it was very nicely served with good quantity and taste. Location is amazing - you could walk around Fancy bazaar and even to the ropeway. Service was good and staff was responsive. I feel interiors and decor can be improved further to give it a nice look, otherwise it's a good hotel.

Hotel is decent with the facilities. Rooms, sheets, pillow covers, towels, etc should have been cleaner, the lobby, reception, corridors are clean though. Buffet breakfast is also is decent, but food should be warmer. Lunch n dinner options are good.

It was a nice cozy stay in here. Walkable distance from most of the place like Fancy Bazar ane River ghats attractions. Location is so good and it's opening itself on the main road. Hotel staff were good.

1. The hotel is close to railway station (1 km) and fancy bazaar. 2. The reception staffs are very helpful. 3. The room were clean and big enough. 4. Food was very tasty. Lots of varieties were available during buffet breakfast. Thank you Magic square hotel team, will surely visit again in my next Guwahati trip.

Very nice and clean hotel, all amenities inside bedroom as well as bathroom are in working condition, staff behaviour is very good all are very cooperative. Location Wise best area in Guwahati, Railway station, renowned fancy bazar, pan bazar, ropeway etc. in nearby. Restaurant also available on 3rd floor in this hotel, Overall nice experience staying in this hotel. Recommended for all family members including special person.
