The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Felt like home. Cozy, well ventilated, clean rooms. Bathroom very clean. Beautiful location with hill view. The terrace garden makes it more appealing. Space available for drying clothes. Interior decors shows the artistic taste of the owners. Yummy but homely food. Enjoyable experience. Would like to visit again.

Our stay at Madhumita homestay was very pleasant and comfortable. Thanks to Madhumita ma'am and sir, who both welcomed us like a family member. Our room on the terrace level was beautiful, specially we liked the beds a lot as they were very comfortable. Also the spacious bathroom and open varanda outside added beauty to our stay. Ma'am also cooked tasty food for breakfast during our stay and a dinner upon our request. The homestay is a bit far from the airport but as you will reach there, the surrounding is calm which was helpful to rest well. From our side, we highly recommend this homestay for anyone whether travelling single or with family. Again many thanks to ma'am and sir.

A peaceful abode in the city to make your experience top notch. Rarely have I met such warm hosts, they take care of you in every way possible. The food served is superb & they have a diverse menu! The rooms are charming and clean. They have other amenities such as wifi as well. The terrace at the third level is lovely too. You are never away from home at Madhumita's Homestay. It is truly a hallmark of Assamese hospitality. Would highly recommend!

The search for the perfect homestay in Guwahati ends here! Lovely hosts that ensure you have a homely stay at their place. The 3rd floor room we booked was spotless with most required amenities. Being a stickler for cleanliness we were really impressed with everything, because that's hard to find even in the best of stays. The room opens out to a nice open terrace with a small garden. Watching the birds early morning chirping there adds to the vibe. You can see the attention to detail in the room that offers complete privacy. The hosts live right downstairs for any help. There is parking available for one car inside the compound or roadside parking should be alright too as it's a quiet area tucked inside Jyotinagar. Shall pay a visit soon!
