Hotel Royal Palace

Location is good,easily locatable-they provide breakfast with the room.There biriyani is famous and is tasty(3/5). Normal Rooms are small which is okay but I felt bed sheets are not washed after each customer.

Disappointing Experience - Poor Room Allocation and Service I had booked two rooms at this hotel through MMT -- one Executive and one Premium. Due to a late flight, I arrived at the hotel around midnight. At check-in, both rooms assigned were Executive-type rooms. While one matched the photos of the Executive room as expected, the second clearly did not resemble the Premium room I had paid nearly 1,000 extra for. When I raised this with the receptionist, he insisted it was a Premium room according to their system. I pointed out that the room looked more like a Deluxe room based on the photos on MMT, not the Premium category I had booked. He then admitted that since I had arrived late, they had no Premium rooms available and told me to stay in the current room for the night and that I would be shifted to a Premium room the next day. As it was late and I had no other option, I reluctantly agreed. However, the room was far from satisfactory -- the bedsheets had visible stains, and the towels were frayed and worn out. What was most disappointing was the casual and indifferent attitude of the receptionist, who acted like this was a normal situation and that I simply had to adjust. The following night, I was moved to the Premium room, which was decent and matched expectations. Overall, my experience was negative. The hotel appears to follow a "first come, first served" approach rather than honoring confirmed bookings. This is completely unacceptable, especially for travelers arriving late and unfamiliar with the area. While the second night improved, the first night's experience and the poor handling by staff left a bad impression. I would not recommend this hotel to those expecting reliable service and professionalism.

Rooms were not prepared beforehand. Had to change rooms which weren't booked. The rooms were so compact. Had to pay an extra 1000 and still didn't get a complementary breakfast. Nothing royal or a palace about it.

We booked the highest category room in just 2200 rupees. It was very spacious and clean. The room was worth every penny. The food was good too. We ate thali and it felt like homemade food. Property is very well maintained and staff are good too.

Dear Hotel Royal Palace, I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your hotel. My experience was far below expectations, especially when compared to the images and information presented online. I was particularly disappointed by the lack of essential amenities. Contrary to what one would expect from a hotel of your supposed standard, basic items such as a dental kit, slippers, a bathroom kit, and a shaving kit were not provided Even I asked to arranged it but Reception staff not provided it . Furthermore, the price I was charged was significantly higher than the online advertised rate. While the online price ranged from 1800 to 2000, I was charged 2500. I sincerely hope you will take my feedback seriously and address these issues to improve the experience for future guests. Thanks, Manzar Alam

Had a bad experience. Don't go by the photos uploaded on the page. Unfortunately I missed taking pics as I just wanted to leave the place and go. The bed linen was so dirty and had hair all over it. Looked as if it was not washed at all. Pillow covers had turned brown from white and were stinking. Bathroom looked fine but once we entered here it was filled with rotten smell of sewage. TV did not have any channels recharged. Breakfast was not ready even till 0800hrs and we left with out having despite having paid extra for breakfast while booking.

What an absolute disgrace Hotel Royal Palace is! Whoever had the audacity to call this dump a "royal palace" must have been delusional or outright lying. The rooms were a pathetic joke compared to the glossy photos they use to lure unsuspecting guests. No cupboard, no wardrobe--just a sad, empty space that felt more like a prison cell than a hotel room. And let's not forget the "amenities" they promised but conveniently forgot to provide. The staff? Oh, what a treat! The receptionist had the nerve to tell us that once payment is made, there's no refund--essentially trapping us in this nightmare. To add insult to injury, we were forced to wait an HOUR to check in because, surprise surprise, the rooms weren't ready. How hard is it to manage a basic check-in process? Apparently, it's rocket science for this so-called "hotel." Whoever owns this disaster of a establishment should be ashamed. You're not running a hotel; you're running a scam. Do everyone a favor and either shut it down or hand it over to someone who actually knows what hospitality means. Pathetic doesn't even begin to describe this place.

I have booked a room for 1800/- The room is so small that u can't move .there was no hanger no wardrobe . no table to keep the luggage and basic accessories.. rooms are so exhausting. Breakfast is good but they can improve the timing . U should look for other options than this hotel . There is nothing like they have shown in photos
