Hotel Royal Heritage

Went there in 2019; it was really great at the start. The rooms were adequate, it is also close to the bus station. The room service was great; housekeeping was fabulous! However the real color of this hotel's management came during checkout. The manager at the checkout counter (an old man with glasses) accused us of soiling the bedsheets with food. He along with a different housekeeping staff embarrassed us in the lobby saying we should have had our food at the table (which we did). It's a 3-star hotel. Guests can have food wherever they want. If the sheets get soiled, then you can add extra cleaning charge to the bill (we did end up paying extra cleaning charges outside of the bill). But why did the manager have to humiliate us like that? Treat us like we were children? A sincere request to Hotel Royal Heritage to not keep such toxic people at work. I too work in hospitality and I can never imagine speaking to a guest like that. It's been 5 years (it's 2024 now as of writing this review) but that incident is still fresh in my mind and has given me a bad vibe about this hotel. Again the service from the busboys is great - no qualms against them. It's the upper management people who are toxic.

BEST PLACE TO STAY IF YOU HAVE WORK AROUND TRADE CENTRE. PARKING DINING ROOMS RECEPTION HAVE STAYED THE 2ND TIME AND HASN'T BEEN DISAPPOINTED. GOOD HOTEL

The behaviour of the receptionist during the morning time was very rude and bad. The guy argues badly not by knowing anything. The rooms were dirty, electric kettle was not working, AC was not working, water was leaking in the washroom. Due to the official program, we had to stay 4 nights and it was horrible. The electric kettles were broken and used by others. No handwash soap and tissue were there in the unclear common washrooms in the corridor. Altogether it was a very bad experience.

I had an amazing stay at Hotel Royal Heritage in Guwahati! The moment I arrived, the staff greeted me with warm hospitality, making check-in quick and hassle-free. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with all the modern amenities I needed for a comfortable stay.The hotel's restaurant served delicious food, offering a great variety of local and international dishes. I especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which had a wide range of options to start the day.The location is convenient, close to key attractions in the city, yet offers a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and memorable.Overall, Hotel Royal Heritage exceeded my expectations with its exceptional service, comfort, and charm. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Guwahati.

Room smelled like cigarettes and wine, poor air conditioning and tv, the staff was dumb and rude, and inexperienced. 2/10. Don't go here.

This hotel is next to Royal Global University. The rooms are old and crawl everywhere. The furniture is full of stains, service is poor and delayed. Don't eat their breakfast and dinner. Poor quality!
