Hotel Prag Continental

We came for a few nights but then on the first night while we were eating dinner a fire started and we had to go to another hotel without our things . We got our things late at night at the other hotel. Food was good and room service was not very good but average. But just remember it's an old building and a fire could start anytime. Have a safe trip.

Recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Prag Continental, Guwahati with my family, and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience. From moment we arrived, we greeted with warm hospitality and efficient service, making us feel instantly welcome.|The Room were specious, well maintained, and equipped with all necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The cleanliness and attention to detail were commendable, ensuring a relaxing and hassle free experience for my family. The ambience was pleasant, food was excellent, staffs are very friendly in total experience was wonderful.

Hotel was adequate for my purposes. Location and premises were good and breakfast buffet was limited but tasty. However, I was greeted by a pair of cockroaches upon entry, and the hotel did little to get rid of them. On my last of 3 nights, I stepped out for dinner and came back to the strong smell of cigarette smoke. I could not get it out despite opening the room, turning on the exhaust in the bathroom, running the AC and fan, etc. When I complained to the front desk, staff came and sprayed some fragrance which did little to mask the odour. This was unacceptable and I am disappointed with the hotel's lazy response.

Excellent service and good rooms with fast room service. Very good hygiene was maintained. However, food taste was also fine. Room Amenities also awesome. This is my 5th time & I always prefer this hotel. Room rate also reasonable. Pretty good breakfast, I really enjoy my stay.

One of the best hotel with class in this area, the service, the room, the decoration of lobby & reception at this price point is really outstanding. One thing which was out of the tune was missing hash brownie in breakfast.

I had a very weird episode with them. I called them up to check if they have an availability of the room the day I landed in the city. They mentioned yes and told me the price too. But somehow I trust MMT app more so booked through them, immediately got a call back from hotel that they will not accept this booking because I didn't book directly from them. In a way I am glad that I didn't stay with them - if this is their attitude I am well off without staying with them. Highly unprofessional, full of ego & attitude -shouldn't be in hospitality business.

My absolute go to hotel everytime I land in Guwahati. The location is nice and you can always extend your stay as per your convenience. The service is good and the staff are really amiable especially Satish ji. Highly recommend it!
