Hotel Hornbill

The hotel was pathetic. Zero maintenance. We have checked out within an our of checked in. We have booked one luxurious room for one night. But the hotel was so dirty even if they changed the room We couldn't not stay there. We checked out and booked another hotel on opposite side. If there any option for zero star or negative I would given it

Worst hotel we have ever experienced. Rooms and toilets so dirty that no one can spend a night there. We checked out within half an hour of checked in. This hotel should be closed.

Hornbill hotel is the worst Hotel in Guwahati. No cleanliness, High rate more over the room boys are liar. I have the worst stay in this hotel. Moreover, the manager are never in the reception. Its better to close down.

I recently stayed at Hotel Hornbill in Guwahati, and it was by far one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. The entire place was a disaster from start to finish, and I would never recommend it to anyone.||||The rooms were completely unmaintained--covered in dust, with broken switchboards, and not a single plug point working. The air conditioner couldn't be turned off because the switch didn't work, and the remote they provided was useless. The flush didn't work in any of the rooms where my group members were staying, except for one. When we requested an alternate room, they gave us one with a working flush, but the hand shower was broken. It felt like a never-ending list of problems.||||To make matters worse, the toilets were filthy--completely uncleaned. The commodes and bathrooms were so dirty they had turned black. It was absolutely disgusting. On top of that, there was no water for an entire day! The water ran out while I was bathing, leaving me stuck without being able to rinse off.||||The manager's behavior was unbelievably rude, with zero remorse for the issues we faced. He didn't even have the basic decency to check if everything was okay before we checked in. When we asked for clean bedsheets, they gave us used ones that literally had footprints all over them! It was beyond unhygienic.||||This place is a complete nightmare--overpriced, dirty, with broken amenities, and staff who couldn't care less. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from Hotel Hornbill.

Last year in November 2024 I visited the hotel but room service is very bad but yesterday I visited the hornbill hotel again..but this time room service is very good I like it and rooms are now clean again I will go the hornbill hotel tqq for the good service.hornbill hotel .

Service worst, when I was not in my room workers entered the room to check and clean without my permission , worst service ever, greser not working, water was soo dirty recommend not to visit here ever. Even i order breakfast the plates was too dirty , even customers has no privacy??? Workers entered the with out permission

First of all, the rooms were completely unmaintained--covered in dust, with broken switchboards, and none of the plug points worked. The air conditioner couldn't be turned off because the switch was broken, and the remote they provided didn't work either. To make things worse, the flush didn't work in any of the rooms where my group members were staying, except one. When we asked for an alternate room, they gave us one with a working flush, but the hand shower was broken. The rooms didn't even lock properly! The keys were a complete mess, and even the staff didn't know which key opened which room. All of our rooms could be opened with keys labeled with different room numbers--unbelievably unsafe. The bathrooms were filthy--the commodes and the entire bathroom area were black from dirt and hadn't been cleaned in ages. To top it off, there was no water for an entire day. The water ran out while I was bathing, and it wasn't restored until much later. On top of everything, the lift wasn't working properly, and my elderly family members, along with their lift operator, got stuck inside for 15-20 minutes. This was completely unacceptable, especially since they have no backup system in place. The manager's behavior was shockingly rude, with zero remorse for any of the issues we brought up. He didn't even bother to check if things were in order before we checked in. When we asked for clean bedsheets, they handed us used ones with literal footprints all over them.
