Harmony house: fine living

I stayed there for 1 night(5th Jan 2025) only when I visited Arunachal Pradesh and I wish i could skip this place because how horrible it was. The rooms and bed had musty smell. The washroom doesn't have a geyser or vanity kit. Even soap was not provided to us. No drinking water in the room. The caretaker seems to not care even when we complained. Overall it was my worst experience at a stay. The property is nice with spacious rooms but they are not maintained properly.

We have stayed in a few others hotel and home stay in Guwahati during our 1 month trip to Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. Harmony House location is by far the best. Safe local neighbourhood. The walk up apartment seems from the 1970s or early 1980s has got some charm. My booking was done through Airbnb and the check in smooth and easy. Owner Mrinmoyee gave me the caretaker contact number and i got my auto rickshaw to call and get directions. The rooms are perfect for a Guwahati transit stay or to explore nearby attractions. a big carpark useful for those who drive. Excellent value. Thank you.

The rooms are spacious, simple yet elegant in style. Comfortable beds, fresh linens, television, attached bathrooms and basic toiletries are provided to the travelers for a relaxing stay. Balcony is provided in every room where guests can enjoy a hot cup of coffee or simply feast their eyes to beautiful surroundings. The hotel has laundry room where washing machine and dryer is provided. Wi-Fi facility is available throughout the hotel. Parking and cab service is there for guests convenience. Front desk and room service is provided to the travelers. In case of emergency, doctor on call facility can be availed.Dining: A fully equipped kitchen is provided to the recipients where they can cook their own meals.

A nice and comfortable place to stay in Guwahati. Good service. They provide complimentary breakfast. Care taker is friendly and service minded.
