Assam home/hostel project

Owner is great. Very Nice person. I Added his phone number here because it was hard getting in touch with him, hope it will help others. The place is nice and offers a lot of different accommodations, and it is very close to a nicer part of the city. Little bit expensive but I think it's worth it for a night or two...

One of the best places I've been to in India, and it mostly because of Tushar, who runs the place. He's always willing to help and always so nice and kind. The dorms are comfy

This place is wholesome! I had such a good experience and also incredible luck to be in the hostel at the same time as the owner, Tushar, that makes the extra mile to make you feel welcomed. The place is magical, has a lot of common spaces (outside&inside, rooftop) that have the ambiance that makes you wanna spend there more time. And I really like the location, not much honking but still close to the main road

Hygiene, Spacious and Cleanliness. I have booked Taj for a day ahead but I am good comfortable here. There is no air conditioning but during monsoon the weather remains pleasant. Whoever made this place has great aesthetic sense and also common sense. Every product from washroom till bedroom is sturdy and yet has a old charm to it. Summers could be tough but July onwards till Feb it would be absolutely fine. Linen and towels provided were clean. The care taker is a good professional, better than a few I see in posh hotels.

Everything about this hostel is lovable. Tushar bhaiya and Deepojyoti are really welcoming. One of the best stay in Guwahati.

If you're looking for a "home away from home" while exploring Guwahati, this is the place for you. You are bound to instantly feel at ease and connected, like you are a part of a big, friendly family.

This was my first stay for the northeast trip & so glad I chose this. The host is so kind and helpful. The place legit feels like home. Absolute pinterest aesthetics. The location is perfect too with close proximity to the market.

During my recent stay in Guwahati, Assam, I had the opportunity to experience the Assam Home/Hostel Project. While there were some positive aspects to my stay, there were also a few areas that left room for improvement. First and foremost, I was pleased to find that the rooms were clean and well-maintained. The cozy ambiance and comfortable bedding provided a pleasant atmosphere, making it easy to unwind after a long day of exploring the city. The attention to cleanliness is definitely commendable. However, one of the major drawbacks I encountered was the absence of fooding options. Surprisingly, neither meals nor packed water were available at the home stay. This was quite inconvenient, especially for travelers who might be arriving late or prefer the convenience of having meals on-site. The lack of this basic amenity could be a significant inconvenience for many guests. In terms of service, the staff was polite and accommodating, but the absence of certain essential amenities did impact the overall experience. It's worth noting that the home stay is a budget-friendly option, and this might be reflected in the amenities provided. Considering the clean and comfortable rooms, I would rate the Assam Home/Hostel Project with 3 stars. If they could address the issue of fooding and provide at least some basic refreshments, it would greatly enhance the overall guest experience. For travelers who prioritize cleanliness and are comfortable with arranging their own meals, this home stay could still be a viable option.
