Gargo Towers

It must be nth visit to gargo towers popularly known as Kamakhya guest house. We booked 4 rooms for 5 days so enjoyed our stay there. Nice breakfast every morning. Dinner followed with our booze party. They serve fried peanut that is excellent starter for booze. Very good selection of homely food. Room is big neat clean . A very pleasant stay.

Once again a trip to gargo towers. Recently painted now three floors operating room provided in third floor with two side balcony. Now breakfast and dinner served mostly in rooms so no Buffett spread. Obviously breakfast items are limited. Ready with latest technogy of digital payments. Wifi is slow. Boyes are efficient and friendly. pleasant experience.

A home away from home. Delicious homely food forces me to stay here time and again.

For my last five visits in two years stayed at Gargo tower or kamakhya guesthouse as locally better known. Nice grand four storey building with all needed facilities. The structure looks as a set of hindi soap opera. Big rooms nice a. C. HUGE bathrooms. Homely food at reasonable price. Always a pleasant stay though it's costly as per a small town standard.

It must be nth visit to gargo towers popularly known as borthakur guest house. Only difference was it being Deepawali I was the only guest this time around. Same smiling faces to welcome you smooth check in and promptly escorted to room. A big room with a very big or huge bathroom. Nice bed furniture though designer not very comfortable. Winter just knocking the door fan is not needed let alone A. C. Working wifi on all floors. First time during all stays was asked to serve dinner in room for they did not lay buffet. Similarly for breakfast it is just bread toast with egg n fruits. Area surroundings greenery is just unparreled. With nice food and helping staff it always makes a pleasant stay.

Once again a visit to gargo towers ,bit.worried after pandemic but found same old warm hospitality. Stayed for two nights and enjoyed the stay. Very informal friendly atmosphere with nice food and lavish brekfast. This pleasant stay drags me there again n again.

The biggest advantage is that it is close to Oil India office, so for business travel, especially for a longer stay it is good as it is more like a home than a hotel type establishment. Foods are good, but will not get too much options and need to give the confirmation for you lunch or dinner will in advance.

It was a good stay at GT. The compound is big and greener.
