THE CHIPHOONG INN

We went for a breakfast meal. It is a nice place, well maintained and neat. The staff is polite and helpful. The food was good and freshly prepared. Nice ambience with pleasing decor, clean plates,cups, saucers, cutlery etc The restaurant also has a nice collection of books. One can pick up a book and read while having a meal. Only point I would like to raise is that the washroom in the restaurant should have been clean and better maintained. An untidy washroom leaves a bad taste in the mouth(no pun intended) Overall, we had a great experience.

I came across this hotel while wandering around late at night, and the beautiful exterior instantly caught my eye. The receptionist was super nice and set me up with a budget-friendly dorm room that was really comfy. The front desk was clean and stylish, which added to the overall vibe. I also loved that the hotel's name seems to come from a traditional flute in Assam. On top of that, they gave me tea when I checked out, leaving me feeling totally refreshed!

Had our wedding juroon here in the restaurant and also booked rooms for guest stay. Everything was satisfactory. Staff are very nice and friendly. Overall a good experience!

The food is below average and overpriced. We had ordered "chilly paneer gravy" with stramed rice but they gave us "paneer manchurian gravy" that too without salt.

Good place to stay and staff is well behaved, but I should warn you not to use the body wash and shampoo dispensers in bathroom as they can get loose and fall. And if they get damaged, you will be required to pay for them.

The food is great, but the reception staff needs to be better trained in terms of behaviour. During rains water leaks through the window panes. The most troubling issue was that after completion of payment and other formalities, their own staff loaded our luggage in the vehicle as per our request. But after 10-15 mins we received a call from the reception telling us that u have not informed and checked out of the hotel. The reception staff badly needs some proper training in handling guests.

the reception staff needs to be better trained in terms of behaviour..how to speak a guest he don't know...we also paid the bill not to be a free accommodation.. receptionist boy must be upgraded in hospitality industries...thanx..
