**HM Resort, Dibrugarh - Doesn't Quite Live Up to Its 4.3 Rating** *Visited on: 11th May | Group: Family of 8* We visited HM Resort in Dibrugarh as a family of eight on a Sunday, which happened to coincide with a marriage gathering being held at the banquet hall. Naturally, the resort was quite crowded, and unfortunately, that had a noticeable impact on our experience. The property itself is spacious and fairly well-planned. The ambience is pleasant, with ample open areas and a nice space for kids to play. On first impression, it looks like a good place for families to relax. However, we were surprised that a resort with a 4.3-star rating did not quite meet the expectations that come with that score. The restaurant was especially disappointing--it felt congested and was clearly not designed to handle large crowds. Our group of eight had to squeeze around a table meant for six, which was uncomfortable. The food was average and took quite a while to be served, likely due to the heavy rush. **Pros:** * Nice ambience and well-maintained grounds * Family- and kid-friendly outdoor space * Good location for small gatherings on quieter days **Cons:** * Overcrowded during events like weddings * Poor seating arrangements in the restaurant * Food service was slow and the quality was just okay * Doesn't reflect the standards one would expect from a 4.3-star resort **Recommendation:** If you're planning to visit HM Resort, we strongly advise avoiding dates when there are large gatherings or events. The place may be better enjoyed on quieter weekdays or during off-peak hours. As it stands, the resort has potential, but it doesn't quite live up to its rating when under pressure.

Have u seen a resort where a family organises a party in summers keeping in mind, THE AIR CONDITIONED HALL , which is a basic need for parties in Summers, and to your shock, you get to notice that none of the AC's are working and the room is boiling hot, completely in the party , milling everyone in the heat. Even after knowledge of the staffs about the fault in the AC, no one bothers to Get it repaired for the party, just let it go, even though the party is to be held just in few hours. If I describe this issue here, it would fall short of words. nowadays, HM is turning the perfect example of a saying , "Demand makes you the boss, but without improvisation and perfect management, even a leader will become a beggar one day!

Recently visited this resort for lunch, and it was an incredibly disappointing experience. The staff was rude and unprofessional, with uncomfortable stares directed at female guests. The waiter was particularly unpleasant--dismissive, slow, and visibly irritated when we made simple requests. There was a lack of basic courtesy from everyone, making what should've been a relaxing meal feel uncomfortable. While the resort itself is nice, the poor service made it impossible to enjoy the visit. I won't be returning.

The stay was comfortable and nice. The hotel staff was very friendly, and the rooms were well-equipped with all available facilities. Cleanliness was on point. Everyone was very welcoming towards us, and the restaurant area was great, along with the DJ night and pool area, which had an open ground and a lot of greenery and freshness around. If you are coming to Dibrugarh, HM Resort is a must-stay.

The beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly.||*Amenities:* 4.5/5||The resort has a lovely restaurant serving delicious food, a kids' play area that my children loved, and a bar with a good selection of drinks. The only suggestion I have is to add more recreational activities for adults.||*Service:* 5/5||The staff at HM Resort were exceptional. They were attentive, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile to make our stay comfortable|Considering the quality of service, amenities, and accommodations, I feel that HM Resort offers excellent value for money.||*Recommendation:*||I would highly recommend HM Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Good food, ambience and well maintained resort. Food variety is good. lots of parking space but has some construction work going on inside. There is also a decent place for kids to play as well

A well ambient resort with a comfortable stay. The room's decoration and cleanliness is great. However , the room service could be improved upon with faster service. The restaurant is great however at times it is so crowded that there is no time for the server for inhouse guests. Dedicated service may be thought of for inhouse guests during a crowded period. Overall a comfortable and great family stay
